Since this morning I am unable to enter the arena, it says "loading" for a long time, then displays this message:
"Couldn't connect to server, please click 'back to menu' and try again"

Repeated attempts produce the same result.

I have the exact same problem, and it doesn't seem to help to load the leaderboards.

This happens to me constantly now.  I just keep returning to the main screen and then reenter every time it refuses to load; if that doesn't work I refresh and then it does work.

Loading leaderboard didn't help me either, but doing a full refresh / re-load of the browser did (using shift+reload button in firefox).
It seems to happen every once in a while, now I just do the full-reload, then it works.
