Redeem code: server not responding half-way validation

I have seen a lot of specific cases of closing tabs, refreshing windows etc. which you should not do when redeeming codes, question is, when you get a situation like this (there was a valid code entered in the white bar which I cut out of the picture for obvious reasons):

what can you do? I tried opening game in a new tab to "try again" but the code is no longer considered valid (I even reached maximum amount of validation attempts trying apparently *sigh*), I still have the tab open at the screen as shown above, but something tells me closing it isn't going to magically re-mark the code as valid and I don't see how to "try again" (as the screen suggests) when your code has already been marked used <_<

I had the same problem 2 days ago. Now my code is not working... I spent ~ 4 €.
First the server was not responding, then my code is invalid.

I just started here... So please don't tell me, it's always like this.. In this case I am gone.
