Unstable Gas just killed me!

Hi people,
I'm new here. Play Elements for about a week. Have 1400+ points.

Something weird happened. I had 9 HP points and Unstable Gas prepared, CPU had 28. With my creatures and Unstable Gas I could kill him instantly. So I used it and next thing I see is screen informing me that I am lost. Was that suppose to happen?

Did he have voodoo dolls or aa reflecting shield? It's the only way I could imagine this happening. If so it's intentional, as voodoo dolls reinflict damage inflicted on them to the opposing player, and reflective shield reflect spell damage.

Damn. I probably forgot about the shield on account of never using it and never actually seeing it in action. I mean CPU uses this all the time but there isn't really much to reflect. But I must say this forum is great. Few minutes and here's an reply. Thanks!
