When I'm playing a battle, can I go to another browser tab (web page)?

I've noticed that if I change tabs, the elements battle seems to stall a bit. Is this normal?

yeah, at least i think. i heard that google chrome slows down flash when you arent on that tab (to keep it from slowing)

It's best if you don't switch tabs when you're playing PvP, since there is allegedly an increased chance of desynching if you do so.

Yes I'm using Chrome on a Mac.

Tried it on Firefox and works great.

I always keep the game and chat in different windows. It doesn't just help to get less desyncs, it also allows me to chat in AI's turn and make grinding nicer.
