Account Linking Issue

So I have this younger brother who plays on Kongregate, under the name zenteca, and another younger brother who wanted to try playing who created a account, ryckta5, and accidentally linked zenteca's account on kongregate to his.

The problem being that zenteca has many hours and several rares invested into his account and ryckta5 being a new account with nothing on it.

Now when we log on using the Kong account it's not zenteca, but ryckta5.

My worst fear for poor Zen is that his account has been overridden. Can anyone confirm how that works?

That is indeed how it works. For some ungodly reason there's no warning on Kong, but basically it overwrites when you link accounts. I was simply lucky that I hadn't played for long when I linked and lost some stuff.

This happenend to me as well, and I have very good news: The account isn't lost, he just has to type the name and password in the right part and login, he'll see his account again, untouched.

Linking the account on kongregate isn't literraly overwritting, it's just a shortcut. (you just click "play")
