account hacked and reseted

I'm just returning from my week of holydays, lauching elements as I missed it and I just cried.

I was over 250K score, nearly 700 uped cards, more than 20 nymphs, all gone.

My IG name is freez, maybe you remenber it from top50.

I'm so diapointed and don't know how to fix that. 1 years playing it and now another time a the very begining.

Has anyone ever heard of a similar case or know how to go through?

First of all I doubt you were "hacked". If someone else accessed your account, he/she most likely guessed your password. I've seen multiple people use passwords like:

"123456"
"password"
"elements"
.. or simply use their account name also as a password.

If you belong to that group, you were most likely "hacked" and I doubt the developers can do anything about it.

But if you did have a complicated password that nobody else knows, then it's of course a bigger mystery. My questions are:

1. I am assuming that you can login because you know your account has been reset?
2. Has your account been reset using the "reset" button? Has everything been wiped out?
3. Are you sure you didn't reset you account by mistake? (yes, I have to ask)

Well, when I said "hacked" it means my password have been guessed.

At the very begining, I don't find the necessity to create a difficult one.

But later it appears we can't change it, as I try several time sending mails to the developers.

Several time I logged into my account and found that my deck have been changed.

And today, the things that I feared the most happens. Even my score reach 0.

Maybe developers keep some older copies of the database.

I wrote a mail to game.elements@gmail.com but I'm afraid it won't be read even if I mention a way of payment for the time spent fixing the problem.

I'm sure you can understand how this situation is painfull.

Wow, that sucks big time.

I'm pretty sure that Zanz takes backups of the database but going back to them and editing them manually might not be as easy as you'd think, especially when we talk about a database as big as Elements has. Then of course I could be wrong and there weren't any backups. Lastly there is the painful process of you proving that you really own this account in question, etc...

I guess you could email to game.elements@gmail.com, join a dozen new religions (just in case), and start praying full-time. I wouldn't get my hopes up but good luck and hopefully you get this sorted out.

wow man, that's really sad burne.  I know what u mean about the password not being able to change.  I made mine at kongregate and when it made it, it made a random password for me.  I didn't get to choose my password.  I have also been trying to figure out ways to change it.  Everytime I open elements, I have to look at a piece of paper where i wrote down my password .  sorry for your loss.

it is possible. I got 3 nymphs in one week, after a month or so, where I didn't get one.... So he had much luck.

*Note: It was recently changed to something else that is extremely hard to guess
