This is less a question, and more advice from a player that specializes in a similar element.
Both Aether and Gravity have one thing in common:
The lack of positive Attack-Quanta creatures.
With Graviton Mercenary being -1,
Sapphire Charger being -1,
Armagio being -4,
and Colossal Dragon being -3...
Gravity has a tough time doing damage on it's own.
Aether gets around this by using it's powerful arsenal of spells (Lightning, Parallel Universe, Fractal) to do damage using other elements.
In your opinion, is it possible to use Gravity in a similar way in order to circumvent your damage difficulties?
This inspired me to bring forth sort of an ongoing Project. Basically, Pimp My Element for teams that arrived last in War.
Now, a disclaimer: I know teams are not elements and losing War has probably not much to do with the element as it is, but rather with how the team performed. But, since War is THE PvP Event and at least SOMETHING is related to inherent elemental power (especially for the most powerful elements), I think losing War teams are a nice starting point. Everything else would work well, though.
Now, the idea sort of takes the lead from the definition of the Metagame mentioned above. We would have a thread outside of the IF forums, on CIA boards probably, where everybody may comment upon the element in question mechanically. We would also send PMs to the
"guest stars" of the element and feature their comments on the opening post. For example, we might want to PM Gravity team members and especially Girlsgeneration if we started from that. The best comments on the thread would be copy-pasted here on IF boards, and the card creation would start.
Now, with expert advice on the Element's metagame and with a healthy discussion on the element's themes, we could very well come up with a "fix". That is, a card or more than one card that gives the element in question a solution to the most likely causes of its defeat.
For instance, we all know on of Gravity's major weak spots this War has been RT. We find a way to answer that problem, for starters, and any other problem that comes out of the above mentioned thread.
