actually i prefer the lower cost 30% model, 50% chance for 3 turns is a bit much considering it can trigger again after it wares off the first time

Can we all agree that Dementia should be 5 | 4 CC and work 50% of the time?  That seems to be where discussion died.  Is that just too complex of the problem for T13E team to wrap it's collective mind around? :P
I agree 5 | 4 for 50% would be a good starting point for balance.

I think Mind Hunter should have 1|7 or 2|2 stats upgraded.

wouldnt that make mind hunter have worse stats when upgraded?

personally, i consider that creature to be skill driven, i would keep the stats/cost of the upgraded either the same (or +1-2 hp) as the base, and reduce the cost of the ability by 1

2|2 -> 1|7 is a very slight improvement for an utility skill based creature.
From Mind Flayer | Ulithid we can observe that cheaper is better than better stats for utility skill based creatures.

Reducing the ability cost, not reducing the casting cost and not improving the stats would be another good option.

yeah thinking about it, 50% basically would have it on lock down for 3 turns every 2 attacks/uses (on average).  this is a toughie.  soft cc/pc, lasting effect.

for confusion guard, the original spell it came from had it attacking its allied creatures, but it attacking its owner also makes sense.  maybe it would be interesting to have it equally likely to do either?

for the nymph, i think we should find some comparable skill costs relative to the spell version of the ability.  that is to say the cost of the spell antimatter (8|6) vs the cost of the entropy nymph ability (4|4) to determine the ability costs of mind nymph.
