So a symmetrically Eye or brain is called for IHMO. Could even be as simple as [backward "n"]"n".

I understand that mine is too basic for a representation, at least consider a grey mark on the scale since it hasn't been used yet in the game.
about that eye thing Assuming we are going to let the community help us out:

the eye is an already take idea by pokemon which is essentially the representation of a variation of the same concept we are doing, I doubt people will deem it as "original":

What about a Labyrinth? Seems to be potentially cool as an icon, represents Mind since it is a complex thing and related to puzzles riddles and whatnot, and can be perfectly symmetrical.

If originality can be accomplished without sacrificing clarity then that would be ideal.
Both  have direct symbolism through the coloration. Only  have vague symbolism and those are the elements whose essence is confused the most. We should not aim for indirect symbolism just to achieve originality. The strength of a symbol is in its clarity not is rarity.

I think we need to stay away from color schemes that symbolize unaffiliated like Gray does. Mind may not be affiliated with any of the other elements (yet) but that is because it is its own faction. Gray being a color of neutrality does not fit Mind.

A labyrinth could work. It would represent the network of neural links, the complexity of personalities and the riddling aspect of the intellect.
For color scheme I would suggest a mix of blue and purple. Halfway between Death and Water. (or Entropy and Aether)

I agree. The eye is the best symbol for the mind. Its common usage is a symptom of a great symbolic connection. Every ccg I have played (even mtg. see kraken's eye) has recognized that the eye is a great symbol for the mind.

I voted for eye.  As Oldtrees said it's sybolism is what I like about it best, as well as the symetrical beauty of it.
On that note : I already have an image idea drawn in my mind for the mark but currently lack the time to be able to draw it.

Hey, look, it's an ancient symbol for sex that someone modified slightly to fit into the astrological paradigm.  Gotta say, I don't mind, but I still like the eye better.
