I found Eddie Izzard being hilarious, he might seems too "nonsensical" at a first approach, but if you get into the mood you will enjoy the trip.

I've only seen the movie, but I wasn't too fond of it. I prefer my humor witty, but also vulgar and I just didn't see much wit in the Holy Grail.

Mel Brooks and Monty Python, for the same reason as OT.
