because nobody has mentioned it in here, I feel the need to state the following:
besides the actual effect, this card counters a few other cards.
Since you keep the card when you play it,
you can:
-prevent opponent's devourers from producing quanta, making an absolute counter.
-prevent opponent's black hole from healing him, making a counter to: black hole, amber nymph, SoFo, SoI + 6 (or 7) SoFo.
This counters 4 cards, and 1 additional combo.
That doesn't sound too good, but without this, it was already OP;
nerf plz.
while I do agree that moving it to a specific element would nerf it in a good way,
it would remain OP in a mono of that element.
My suggestion is to make a whole new 13th element, that consists out of pillars, pendulums, and relic.
This still allows decks that are totally based on relic, but otherwise force a duo, causing it to be less of a counter.
To prevent this to be sticked in in rainbows, make it so that (super)nova, immolation, and quantum pillar don't produce this 13th element.
There is still 1 problem with this: relic could be mark powered. To prevent that, make it so that there is no mark of this element.
