The right answer is 11. 1+1=11. One 1 and another 1 makes two 1s.

Sometimes, it´s 2.5
We know from 1984 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2_%2B_2_%3D_5), that 2+2 can be equal to 5 (sometimes).
2+2=5 => 1+1=2.5
