Thank you for picking up on that!

Well, I got it because I have read GEB.

I also know that ∀ technically means "In all cases of", not just "all".

Requested move to Humor section. Too many people think I'm serious. Sigh.

Would that be Gödel, Escher, Bach: An Eternal Golden Braid?

Because if so, you're the only person I've ever met who's already known about that book.

Apart from a rename, I think this card is good to go!

The Chosen one would be apropriate?

Yes. That is the book I meant.

I reacted similarly when I found out one of my best friends had read it. (I would have used the full title from the start, were it not for my temporary forgetfulness about how to quickly produce a ö.

I assume you are familiar with Martin Gardner (a major voice in mathematics). In his collection of his life's work, he dedicated a chapter to the cover of GEB.

Having read GEB before having read that, it was a welcome treat.

Do you have a favorite dialogue?
I have 3 that are all fighting for my favour.
The first is the Harmonic Labyrinth (with the pushcorn).
The second is the one that has a proper ending, and then continues (but you are supposed to have stopped reading it)
The third is the Crab Canon.

Sorry but this card can't be used because it would be OP combined with Fractal...

∀ simply means "for all". And you always read it "for all".

Like
"  (a+b)+c= a+(b+c) ∀ a,b,c ∈ IR "

read it:
"for all a,b,c which are real numbers".

The joke of the OP card:
The upgraded card seems to be better but isn´t.

If you win the game in the next turn, it doesn´t matter how many quanta you pay - when you can pay the costs.

P.S.
We could simply call our game here "∈s" (Elements)

Crab Canon is probably my favorite, or the one with the Genie in one of Escher's drawings... you know, the one with "meta-wishes" (wishing for more wishes).  It's been too long since I read it.  Crab Canon is just mind-bending.  Took some SERIOUS organizational skills to write!  One of these days, perhaps I'll get someone to act it out with me.

This being a humor thread, and the ∀ symbol being on the card itself, I don't think this is really off-topic.  It sparked some fun discussion, and increased my respect for you in the bargain.

No no, my curiosity is quite piqued. I've never heard of the book you guys are talking about. It sounds...interesting? I'll have to look it up. As for the symbol, it made its way onto the card as I originally went on the hunt looking for a mathematical or logical symbol that meant "All" or something similar. This was the closest I could find. A mathematician I am not, but semiology? So yes. So very, very yes.

Interesting & useful page I used during the hunt: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Table_of_mathematical_symbols

Thanks.

Cost should be lowered to ZERO :P :P
No.

I just noticed another thing:
The unupped card is even better.
You can play the unupped card, when you have 0 quanta. And mulligan increases the chance to get it on the starting hand.

And the upped ?.

So this is another joke of the "OP" card.
