Agreed.  Reduce cost to 2|1 and make it immaterial.  That should make it almost balanced.

Cost 1|1, immaterial, un-upped lasts 3 turns, upped 5 turns and not just simply block the damage, but reflect it back to the opponent!

Unupped is much weaker than upped. Make unupped cost 0. :D

I am in favor of buffing dim shield. Something has to be done because every deck I face lately has six turtle shields or six jade shields, ... or both  :o. It's simply not enough to nerf all momentum creatures, because that will do nothing to end the dominance of jade and turtle shield. What this game needs is at least three viable elements. I am getting a little tired of just only the mono  :time, mono  :life, or  :life :time decks.

The most obvious and balanced improvement is to remove the silly duration limit altogether. Why can't it work like most other shields: you put it up and it stays until destroyed or replaced. Then you wouldn't need to pack 6 copies in your deck freeing up some much needed card space.
