Let's Play: Fibbage!

Fibbage is a hilarious multiplayer trivia party game where you have to bluff and fool your friends while you also need to avoid their bluffs and find the (usually outrageously stupid) real answer.


Here is how to play:

STEP 1:

Fibbage is advised to play in chat, but it can be played on the forum aswell. First we decide who are playing. This should be self-explanatory.

So let's say we have N amount of players (N=2...9). One of them chooses a word from the table of available keywords:

Let's say that the word EGGS was chosen.

STEP 2:

The players ask me - the host - to reveal the question that belongs to the keyword EGGS. The question I give them is this:

"ROADTRIP! When on a spring break trip to Dongyang, China, be sure to try their eggs cooked in _____."

The question will be posted both in chat and in this thread. Anyone who wants to play in the current round can send in 1 guess that they think is suitable. THE GUESS YOU SUBMIT MUST NOT BE THE CORRECT ANSWER! You need to think of either a plausible or a hilarious answer, because you will either need to fool the other players to think that your answer is the correct one, or get points by creating the funniest answer.

You have only 1 minute to make your guess. If there are less than 4 guesses, the host (me) will create additional fake answers.

And yes, there are 2 winning options:

• The main winning option is getting the most points by finding real answers and fooling others to pick your fake ones.
• The second winning option is creating the most entertaining answers and getting the likes of other players.

STEP 3:

After all answers are received, I will post them both in chat and in this topic too, with the real answer mixed between them. Here are the given answers for the example question:

• Semen
• Young Boy Urine
• Jackie Chan's Load
• Fetuses
• Your Butt

The players who submitted the answers 'Semen', 'Jackie Chan's Load' and 'Your Butt' were obviously trying to create funny answers instead of concentrating on fooling each other. That is a viable winning option too.
The players who submitted the answer 'Fetuses' tried to fool the other players into thinking that his answer is the correct one.
Oddly enough, the correct answer to this question is 'Young Boy Urine'. I told you in the beginning that nearly all answers will be either weird or vulgar, but they are always telling facts and truths. The chinese are really eating eggs cooked in young boy urine, it is 100% truth.

People who play in the current round now have to choose an answer and send me their choice in a PM.

Let's say that Player A and B chose the answer Fetuses. Player B also decided to give a like to the answer: Jackie chan's load.
Player C chose the answer Young Boy Urine and gave a like to the answer: Your Butt.
Player D chose the answer Semen.
Player A and D didn't give a like to any of the answers. It is a possibility, but please try to always give a like to someone.

You cannot like or choose your own answer.

STEP 4:

Now that all answers are picked, it's time to evaluate points. Points given are varied based on the number of the current round.

The game consists of 3 rounds: Round 1, Round 2 and Final Fibbage. Round 1 and Round 2 consist of 3 turns each, while the Final Fibbage is one single turn.

Each round is only different by the points that can be earned:

So let's use this knowledge in our example game. The picked answers are now announced by me one by one:

The answer Fetuses was chosen by players A and B.
- It was player C's answer! Player C gets +500 points for each person he fooled. He fooled 2 players, so he gets 1000 points!

The answer Semen was chosen by player D.
- It was player B's answer! Player B gets +500 point for fooling a player!

The answer Young Boy Urine was chosen by player C.
- It was the correct answer! Player C gets +1000 points for finding the truth!

STEP 5:

Now the points and likes are summarized.

Player A - had 0 points - didn't get points - got 1 like for the answer Jackie chan's load

Player B - had 0 points - didn't get points - didn't get likes

Player C - had 0 points - got +2000 points - didn't get likes

Player D - had 0 points - got +500 points - got 1 like for the answer Your butt


HOW THE GAME ENDS:

The game ends after the Final Fibbage, but don't worry! The game can be restarted at any time as long as there are unused keywords left to choose.

The third Fibbage game was won by Kuroaitou by earning the most points.
Ginyu was about to tie with him in the end, but he chose a host-generated answer, which caused him to go under Kuro's score.

kinkykitten also won by collecting the most likes.

The fourth Fibbage game ended and it was the best Fibbage so far!

Linkcat won first place again by getting all answers correctly.

The trophy for most likes is shared by 3 winners this time! Kuro, Physsion and Espithel both got 4 likes.

Espithel would get the trophy for second place. I wonder if second place trophies should be introduced when Linkcat is playing.
Physsion gets a worthy mention by getting +6000 points in the Final Fibbage by fooling 4 players. He ended up only 500 points behind Espi.

Espithel and Kuro unlocked the secret achievement for guessing the correct answer for a question.
