Why can't a glitch be a pokemon? what's your justification? I gave a thematic and mechanical reason for why i -is- a pokemon, youre just repeating the same line. We have metal birds, ghosts that live in televisins, giant obese felines that we cannot walk by, I see no reason why we cant have a glitch as a pokemon. Heck the ghost that possesses electronics (Rotom) arguably is a glitch Pokemon, its a pokemon that exists by causing these things to glitch. How about Prygon and it's evolutions? those are pokemon who are computer programs. Thats but a step away from a glitch.

Because, in my opinion, pokemon are only those that have been created by the official pokemon creators (or the ones who publishes them in the official sites). Those who use them to put them on the TV series, triding cards, etc.

Ah but in fact, and as you stated, Missingno -was- created by them, put in the game for the reasons you stated. Anyways this isnt the proper place for this discussion, its for the rap battles, so lets agree to disagree.

Am I the only one that thinks that many of the 252+ pokemons are kinda copies of the first ones, as some of the 152-252 are equivalent to the 1-151?

You most certainly are not. Every since I saw 'Loudra' a megaphone speaker Pokemon I gave up on the new Pokemon and stuck with the original 151.

I dont like people who hate on Generation 2-5. Sure, the original series was great, but it had some very silly concepts. Thats true of all the Generations. I personally like a lot of later Gen pokemon. Persoanlly my favorites are 1>5>4>3>2, but thats just one opinion (2 is my lowest because of the art style they took made a lot of pokemon blobby) Yes ideas are repeated, but find me a good roleplaying game series that doesnt recycle monsters.

I will admit my opinion is extremely biased and if I played more of the newer games, that opinion may even change, but this is the way I see it: Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow were essentially my childhood. When I think of playing games when I was little(er) it was with my GBC tucked in a random cranny of my house, trying to catch that elusive growlithe. Then I see generation 2 and all I can think of is some company or other dragging out Pokemon for more money, leading slowly down the path to a water down, anticlimactic end, like so many other video games, tv shows, manga. I know that it is the company's point to make more money. I know that's why they made the first Pokemon to begin with, but I still find it hard to forgive them. Even then, I might not have found it so bad if they had only made more Pokemon, but they also changed the original Pokemon by adding more evolutions and forms before previous ones. To be completely honest though, I haven't seen much of gen 3-5.

   Well, now that I've explained my point of view, I hope your dislike for next-gen Pokemon haters is lessened a little.  (Though in my case more like next generation denial.  )

Define "basically repeating". New pokemon were released every generation, any repeat like pokemon are pokemon that were repeated in 2-3 as well (such as the inclusion of a normal-flying every series, fire-grass-water starters, etc)
