If Any Part of Your Body Could Be Robotic, What Would It Be?

How about a robotic SOUL, hmm? Then you'll be able to upload yourself into any computer, and become effectively immortal!

Also, the robotic wings are actually valid. If you implant a pair of mechanical wings onto your back, they technically become parts of your body and fulfills this thread's requirements. The same goes for all body parts that we don't currently have.

While I agree with Bloodshadow's preference of having a 'Robotic Brain', I would be more specific and say that instead of all-around knowledge (which would be beneficial), I would prefer a 'robotic memory'. More than just remembering names or ideas, I think it would be cool to have some sort of "Dream Bank" that I could store some of the best fantasies (and worst nightmares) so that when I look back on them via memory, I could at least try to analyze them on some level to figure why I'm imaging them to begin with.

Also, being able to upload yourself to live on forever does seem enticing, and would be awesome as a Time-lover.

I think that a 'Robotic Brain' would be the worst possible choice.

The question was about "part of a body", so I'm assuming that if you picked the brain, it would be the whole brain. That would mean no emotions, no real creativity, no nothing that makes us humans. You would basically be a mindless, dead drone. No thanks.

I would probably pick a robotic heart. Robotic heart would enable me to live longer, and would seriously improve my physical performance. Not that there's nothing wrong with my current physical performance, but it would be nice to get a pile of Olympic gold medals.

Current computers can't express themseleves because they are really primitive, but robotic brain would be more complex and you could have emotions, creativity etc..
I think that human brain is just robotic brain but it's organic.

I would choose 1 and 0 so I could upload myself to any computer and even to bloodshadow, killsdazombies which would have robotic brain.

Robotic lungs.  My lungs are roughly 35-50% functional due to severe, chronic asthma.  Though I'm still a good baseball player, I'd be able to train much harder and have a legitimate opportunity to make a professional team some day.

Even though it would be like oil, who doesn't want their body run by the unlimited supply of something that controls the whole world and what countries are fighting for now?

I honestly think that TERM stuff would be better than biomechanical stuff, but that's what I get for living near Carnegie Mellon and the McGowan Institute.
