Yes, it's the equivalent of jumping out of the closet with a scary mask on your face and making a little kid cry. Except as adults we're expected to take it in stride and laugh
with the person who pulled off the psychological prank. Here's what happens when you do this to a kid:

I find making other people suffer such an extreme fright for the sake of a laugh atrocious. While this wasn't as extreme a scenario, and while even though it gave me a start, I got over it quickly and didn't mind looking at the bloodied face after the shock, xKelevra has just lowered himself to the level of schoolyard bully. In my opinion, this has no place on this forum.
