Alright, well I lied. It's not so funny as it is scary :v Read it at your own risk.

But I do need to know Korean to know which button to click; is this the beginning of the comic? And if so, where's the "next page" button? All I see is a guy looking at what I presume is a laptop screen with a bead of sweat running down his cheek.
-
just scroll down. there are no buttons to click or anything
-
Not really as funny as FREAKING AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Disclaimer to those who may click the link in the OP: there are elements of horror in this. If you don't like horror, you probably shouldn't click the link.
(probably a good idea to put this in your OP next time)

Agreed.

That was entertaining, I loved it. The minimalistic sound enhanced the comic and was perfect like that.
-
the first face scared me, xD :'(
-
I admit the first one got to me, but I was prepared for the next.
-
The sound really adds up to the effect.
I hate you.
-
Could someone please enlighten me as to why this is funny? :|
-
this is funny, because it is not funny :D
-
I believe the joke is to get you to read it thinking its funny, but scare you instead.
-
Yes, it's the equivalent of jumping out of the closet with a scary mask on your face and making a little kid cry. Except as adults we're expected to take it in stride and laugh with the person who pulled off the psychological prank. Here's what happens when you do this to a kid:
(warning: the kid gets a nasty shock around the middle of the video)
I find making other people suffer such an extreme fright for the sake of a laugh atrocious. While this wasn't as extreme a scenario, and while even though it gave me a start, I got over it quickly and didn't mind looking at the bloodied face after the shock, xKelevra has just lowered himself to the level of schoolyard bully. In my opinion, this has no place on this forum.

and blatantly passing judgement on other people does have a place on this forum? I'm not asking you to record and post your reaction just so I could laugh at it and I'm not recording it. You're looking at the comic of your own accord. If somebody has a problem with the comic, then I'll gladly lock the topic and remove the link, and if you want to continue the discussion then PM me. There's no need to derail the topic.

The only problem I have is that the thread title is designed obviously to mislead everyone.
Just change it to "Scary Comic" and nobody would really have a problem.
-
Yes, that was my whole point - it's a bait-and-switch. Nothing would be wrong with posting this in the correct context, as Eva says. What makes this unfit for this forum is that you are trying to scare people who may not want to be scared... that's something a bully would do.
-
Regardless of whether it belongs here, i personally find it really intriguing. i have never seen any webpage do that before. Defintely worthwhile and glad to chose to share it
@ johan
that comment reminds me of "It's a Trap!" they bait you with a grabbow and then you realize you are running into a voodoo deck. The people who use that must be bullies too :P
-
I had closed the comic after the first face, thinking that would be it. Curiosity beat me and 2nd face really took me by surprise. I agree there's no reason for this to not be posted, but with the right title, and in the right section :/

That's a tactic to win a fair fight in a game. This is a psychological trick to frighten people, I think there's just a teeny bit of difference.

Yes, it's a good idea to warn people first and not surprise them with scary stuff. I personally don't mind being tricked into something like that but some people do and we should respect that.
Good comic btw. Any Koreans out there who could translate the basics of what is said? Not understanding a single word kind of sucked.

Like me, who just HAD to scroll down at 2 o'clock in the morning. :o :-X :'(
...on that note, while I didn't scream, I leaned back and opened a new tab to play some ridiculous trance and drag queen music to flush the fear away. Impressive use of the auto-scroll tool nonetheless.

I remember seeing this posted on twitter. Scared the crap outta me the first time, but the second and third times it was meh.
-
Holy !@#!@#!
That scared me.
-
Awesome and scary! It scared me, but i really liked it!

Is that because you were already scared to begin with? :)

Ha. I looked at the link somewhere between 3 and 4AM and while it didn't really scare me one bit, my girlfriend who I didn't realize was watching my computer screen at the time got quite a fright. I've heard of curiosity killing the cat, but that gave that saying a whole new meaning.
-
Didn't scare me, but maybe its because I'm so used to screamers :x
-
Yeah not exactly funny :P - but I enjoyed it, those quickscrolls are so cool :)
-
My first thought after reading was "wow this is hilarious".
