Yes, I am. 1.5 over 3 is the same as 1 over 2, and 2 times 3 days is 6
Or, 1.5/3=1/2, 2x3=6

1.5 chickens would lay 3 eggs in 1 day right?
Now, how do we know the OP wasnt already giving a lower amount, and that his statistics was originally 3 chickens laying 6 eggs. If you look at it from that point of view, then that means a chicken would lay 2 eggs a day. meaning in 3 days, a chicken would make 6 eggs in 3 days.
