Heir of the False Gods - Final Schedule and Match Result Thread

A final has been reached!  mrpaper and Regyptic will play for the final.  The rules are as follows: if either player wins a match while already having the lead in points, they win! A player additionally wins if they take the lead at any point after having all 29 gods won with.  mrpaper has 20 gods, Regyptic has 17.

mrpaper currently has 65 points to Regyptic's 64.

Schedule your match when it is good for you two; if a round timer becomes needed at any point during the final I will add one.

Regyptic 0-3 mrpaper

Game 1 - Lost mirror with worse draw.
Game 2 - Lost mirror with worse draw.
Game 3 - Not a mirror! But still lost with worse draw.

Regyptic 0-3 mrpaper

Game 1 - Lost mirror with worse draw.  Seism vs seism... had a great draw of 3 upped pillars + an eq vs him having 4 pillars and losing 3 early... he never recovered, also I got 3 steel golems early .. so op to get 6 free ups with this fg.
Game 2 - Lost mirror with worse draw.  decay vs decay... had 4 quanta card + 2 devs +fractal and drew a steal to get 1 of his 2 quanta cards.. he was locked really fast
Game 3 - Not a mirror! But still lost with worse draw.  seism vs decay ... I got 2 early golem and an upped graboid vs I think just 1 dev.... he couldnt do much.

It seems my RNG-devastation against you in 12 Lives carried over instead of giving you good upcoming karma for this events finale, Regy.

Well done mrpaper and overall I enjoyed following the event and participating (early on, despite RL business forcing me to withdraw/be DQ'd).

Regyptic 0-3 mrpaper

Game 1 - Lost mirror with worse draw.  Seism vs seism... had a great draw of 3 upped pillars + an eq vs him having 4 pillars and losing 3 early... he never recovered, also I got 3 steel golems early .. so op to get 6 free ups with this fg. Yeah, I think he had a better start and a quanta split and then started throwing down Golems while I could only respond with an Antlion. Even rewinding a Shrieker couldn't give me enough time to draw any damage.
Game 2 - Lost mirror with worse draw.  decay vs decay... had 4 quanta card + 2 devs +fractal and drew a steal to get 1 of his 2 quanta cards.. he was locked really fast Four pends for him vs 2 quanta for me meant 2 second turn Devs for him and I never got to play anything. I think I conceded after about 5 or 6 turns. To be fair in this one his deck was possibly better suited to the mirror by being able to get out faster Devs. I should still have had a good chance with an even quanta draw though as my fractal should have been faster.
Game 3 - Not a mirror! But still lost with worse draw.  seism vs decay ... I got 2 early golem and an upped graboid vs I think just 1 dev.... he couldnt do much. Pretty much what paper said. The only thing I can add is that by the time I lost (7 turns I think) I had drawn 2 Eclipses and 5 Fractals. It would be difficult for Devtal to win with that draw in any matchup.

Thanks for filling in the blanks and congrats again. I was too tired and a bit disappointed last night to write more so I've just added in my own comments above.

Thanks for running the event elk. There were a few issues as has been mentioned elsewhere but it was a great idea and fun to play. I will add some more detailed comments at some point in the other thread.
