Changes should be made the round before :|

Changes can't be done during the Dueling Phase (for obvious reason) but I'm 99% sure I edited the roles as soon as this round started. Or at least a few hours after the round started. (Though there is the changing delay. Either way.)

Being able to change after seeing who is battling who is the problem.
It should be done anytime the day before (Deckbuilding, casting, battling) and take effect the next day. The status from how it started that round would still apply.

Moving prefects to equivocate upped card disadvantage, moving prefects to prevent extra points from being given, etc.

I can assure you that I didn't make Mesa a prefect to make up for the card disadvantage that we had between that Prefect fight against Ravenclaw. I had already decided (and told the team as well) before this round was posted. However, it isn't possible to change during the dueling phase and as such I changed it on this phase. In fact, I changed this before I even checked the Day 3 Thread ( this one ).
Though changing it to make cards even, after seeing who is battling who, I admit is odd.

I don't question motives, just want the rules to be the best they can be. Sorry if it came across as if your motives were in question.

You make a fair point, Onizuka. I will administer that as rule. But seeing as how I already went ahead and did it, this will be the only exception. Any changes to house Roles during a day will come into effect the next day.
