HPPvP House Cup Overview and Rules

This would be sooooo cool!! I like the idea of team pvp with different assigned elements to each team. This would be a fun week!

All Students may use up to 3 unupgraded or upgraded shards of their choice. All Prefects may use up to 6 unupgraded or upgraded shards of their choice. The Head of the House may use up to 8 unupgraded or upgraded shards of their choice.


How does this rule interact with the 50% of each House Element rule for the purpose of deck building?
a) Can they replace cards of either element in the deck? (i.e. 12 , 15 , 3 shards)
b) Are they not included in the total cards in the deck for the purpose of calculating 50% (i.e. 31 card deck, 14 , 14 3 shards)
c) Are they included in the total cards, but not in either element (While this rule makes the most sense, it also makes it impossible for any student to actually use 3 shards - you will only be able to use shards in even number increments and still be able to maintain the 50% rule)

Shards count as In-Element cards. Which element of your House are they apart of? Whichever they need to be to make sure you get as close to the 50% rule as possible.

The 50% rule is a semi-loose rule. You just need to get as close as possible to 50-50. 49-51 is fine.

You have to get as close as possible. WHich means your deck has to be 50-50 or 49-51.

I'm assuming it doesn't matter who casts spells anymore, if it ever did? Besides for inactivity, it seems that anyone can cast.

Yes it matters who casts spells. or at least it should -_-; but yeah, with the inactivity, it's almost like it doesn't matter anymore.
