5.b If you use a spell on a member of your own House and that wizard wins, they get an additional 10 points awarded to the House. Each spell needs a full day to recharge before it can be selected again, unless there are copies of that spell left(the number in parenthesis represents the amount of copies total).

Just so I'm clear - because the rule doesn't seem very clear to me (although I'm easily confused) - does this rule mean that if you use a spell on a member of your own house that instead of paying the cost of the spell you gain 10 points?

This seems to be the case - Shantu gained + 20 points for casting Confundus and Sectumsempra on himself but didn't then have to pay the 10 point cost of the spell.

If this is how the rule is supposed to work - can it be rephrased so that a dunderhead such as Jen-i can understand it? If its not can the scoring be corrected?

P.S. Can current standings be updated? I believe 2 matches weren't included in the results from last round.

No. All spells cost points, even if you use them on yourself. If you look under "Spells Used" you will see his team is charged for the spells he used.

In hindsight now, it appears that doesn't really make much sense. I might change the rule so that if you use a spell on your own team it doesn't deduct points from your team(unless that person loses).

But as it stands for now, all used spells cost points no matter who they are used on.

    -5 points - I think Kaker's use of Oblivate was missed being payed for for round #2
    +10 points - on day #1 furballdn was given a win against nils (Hufflepuff HoH) this should be 30 points not 20 for the win

Hufflepuff:
Reported Score: 360     My Calculations: 340
    -10 points - Hufflepuff nils (Hufflepuff HoH) has no recorded loss for round #1
    -10 points - The points listed in the OP below Hufflepuff total to -150 not -140


All that said - here's my take on the standing at the end of round #3.
