Silence is golden.

Game one : average quanta draw, bad one for him. Slowly, dragons etched his hp away. BB, plagues, eq stalled a bit but not enough. Silence for protecting his death.
Game two a) One pend start for him, godlike hand for me. Desync on turn 2.
Game two b) Average quanta draw. Got a fair share of PUs, which tore a bonewall down. Silence for the kill.

My heart's really not in this event, the games should have been closer and more enjoyable.

As a side note, the fact that people can cast a spell after their opponent is already completely set up to play you in a matter of minutes is fairly ridiculous. Turns what should be an interesting suspense into an annoying one.

Fully agreed. I think spell castin' and duelin' should be separated to stop this being a possibility.

To clarify : i used it due to the fact that opponents not having time to think it over is a strong advantage. I also see the point of casting/not casting depending on what that house played already. Maybe have a delay between casting ON a duel and that duel? 1-2h maybe?

Well, if someone would be going to casts a spell on me a minute before the set time of duelling, my opponent would simply have to wait at least an hour until I've talked possible changes over with my team and finished adapting my deck.
Going to battle not perfectly prepared will just leave me thinking "aw hell, I could've done better thant that" if I lose.
