Got a wish, glad to know that you know that Aether rocks, just like I do ;)

When it comes to speed, earth/time really shines, but the T50 isn't about speed. This ain't the Level 3 anymore.

For both AI3 and T50, you want SPEED; that's the ONLY thing you need. Other strategies against these guys include quantum denial and full control decks, but although these decks are very sound and win quite often, they are not even half as fast as speed decks.

Essence's Shrieker deck works perfectly; a speed Mono-Fire will also work fine, you'll find plenty of those searching the forum. Another great deck speed deck to try is Speed Poison.

This is a scenario known as "messing up." In my first post, I totally did not mean T50. I only meant AI3. :3

and this shows that even the master of the best monodeck element is still human (mono deck ftw against halfbloods! {this is a topic about halfbloods u know}) anyway, agaisnt half bloods i find that:
15 aether pillarz
5/6 imortals
6 dimension shields
3/4 aether dwagonz
and good old lobotomizer (for people who beat quest 7, if u dont got lobo then get 6imortals and 4 dragonz, if you do then either 5 imortals or three dragons (perferable three dragons) also the mark is, of course, aether, you could have some alter universes and quintisesence (only have one if you have the other, its both or none) and maby some lightning, this is actualy a modified verson of the lv5 farmer built by someone else, its under aether in forum, and sorry for such a long post

finaly: KIRBEH!!!     (>^.^)> ;D

This is pretty close to Mono-Aether, and it's Puppychow's deck.
Deck Name: Untouchable
12x Aether Pillars
6x Dim. Shields
6x Phase Dragons
6x Protect Artifacts

Strategy:
Play the Phase Dragons. Save some quanta for the dim shields and when you do put one up, make sure to play Protect Artifact. That way, no matter what, you get 3 turns without getting hit by anything. In all, you can have 18 turns without getting hit. If you have just one phase dragon out, you can win by the 4th or 5th dimensional shields. Of course you'll have more out. This works for T50 pretty well. It's possible to lose to a poison deck though, but I haven't seen one of those in T50.

The only problem with this deck is that it's not fast. By this I mean that it will win, just not fast like shrieker/graboid rushes.

Mono-Life and Shrieker Spam are both solely aggressive decks; they concentrate on fast damage for cheap. This plan won't usually work against LVL5; they have 2 times more life than you do and a fair amount of attack. Mono-Aether has a fair amount of damage, as well as delivering defense. Mono-Aether is the way to go ;)
I agree.  Three turn shields trump two shields, heal spells, and heal permanents.   :P  Plus, it's not like adrenaline gets past turtle shield, frost shield, and dusk mantle, not to mention gravity shield.

The difference between mono-life and mono-aether is the difference between speed and consistency.  With three light pillars, a rustler, and then adrenaline+frog combos, mono life can drop a 36 damage on turn three.  A single fire shield, rain of fire, or thorn shield ends the whole combo.  With heal spells and good shields, you'll stay alive for the six turns needed to win with the damage.
Mono-aether on the other hand, needs an opening hand of six pillars and a dragon to get 20 damage by turn four.  That being said, it's 20 damage that more than likely won't go away.

So I ask you, which fight do you prefer?  Slamming the AI5 as fast as possible, and outplaying it to get around and problems, or slowly and consistently beating the AI5, and then rinsing, washing, and repeating?

I agree that a mono-aether deck is great for AI5, I have one, it's just so very very boring...

so what will be the best mono-aether deck 6 dragons, 6 shields, lobotimizer, 3 thunder bolt and 14 pillars would that work?

it prolly works but ide suggest using 4 dragons and some immortals instead bcuz if if a HB pulls upp gravity shield ur basicly screwed.  and Immortals are a good way if u need to play defensive with shields and u prolly wount get enough quantums to be able throw up a new one if waiting to get out dragon.

A lot of people will probably call me insane for this (and they'd be right), but I started a new account and have been spamming a standard shrieker rush on AI3, slowly upgrading it.  795 wins, 33 losses... 20 of 30 cards upgraded so far.  I'm sporting a Pulverizer and an Eternity, every other card I've won has been sold for the upgrading.

Once this deck is finished, I plan to start building an AI5 spamming deck.  Probably a standard Aether, I've run it before unupgraded and it does VERY well.  Boring?  Yes, sort of.  I assure you it's not nearly as boring as over 800 graboid rush games in a row.   ???
