Grindpower's Quest for un-upped Half-Blood Farmers (with ttw) https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=18869.msg240546#msg240546
« on: January 04, 2011, 10:06:42 pm »
I gave up on this ages ago as the T50 ttw study person (forgot his name) got angry about it.

After seeing TheOnlyRealBeef's quest for un-upped False God farmers it inspired me to help with half-bloods.

On this thread I will post Half-Blood farmers with more than 50% win rate. If you have any submissions you would like to see in this thread then post it on this thread and I might add it.

When you can start upgrading, your better off heading for FG's as they provide more score and electrum than Half-Bloods. They are also more fun to play against.

I will be fighting 50 games with each deck posted on this thread, and I will provide a ttw.

The Essential Half-Blood Farmer! By Essence
Code: [Select]
61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61s 61s 61s 61s 61s 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 61v 61v 61v 61v 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a
This is Essence’s deck, but I swapped 7 pillars for pendulums for more stability against Earthquake.

Strategy: Start chaining the dimensional shields from turn 19 or turn 18. Play any Immortals or Phase Dragons while making sure you chain your dimensional shields in time.

Weaknesses: Momentum, Permanent Control, Shields that hit through immortality.

Game so far: 20

Wins: 12 Losses: 8

ttw 10: 0
ttw 11: 0
ttw 12: 1
ttw 13: 0
ttw 14: 3
ttw 15: 3
ttw 16: 1
ttw 17: 0
ttw 18: 1
ttw 19: 2
ttw 20: 0
ttw 21: 0
ttw 22: 0
ttw 23: 1

Games last very long... Not the fastest deck there is. The ttw of 12 was when he pulled out a chimera and I killed it straight away so I didn't have to rely on dimensional shields letting me pull out earlier creatures and faster damage.

So far I only have 1 deck, I am finishing the 50 games with this deck and then I will try another.

Other Interesting Discoveries:

Shrieker Rush: I might also mention that Un-upped Shrieker Rush has beaten a few HB's and outrushed them but it is not reccomended for HB's at all. The HB's extra health and quanta generation is sometimes too much for a Shrieker Rush to handle.

Do you have a ttw for it out of 50 games along with a win/loss ratio?

Uh...yeah...about...that...
 :P

Though I haven't recorded any stats, I'm pretty sure that in the 25+ games I've played I've rarely lost.
Bear in mind, this was in v1.25

Speaking about unupped, imHo the fire deck (Firebolt, Fahrenheit) is waaaaay better then this.
It has a higher winning ration and a better CC (also damage is not only from 1 source like here)

I hope you won't get angry that I'm posting here a basic testing.
When the new cards were implemeted to game but not released to bazaar, I decided to farm AI5 a bit and played a sick amount of games against it. I rotated between 3 decks to keep up a little interest but somehow I felt that the no-brainer fire deck was more effective than the other 2.

Deck:
Code: [Select]
6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dg 7dk 7dk 7dk 7dk 7dk 7dk 7dl 7dl 7dl 7dm 7dm 7dm 7dn 7dn 7dn 7do 7do 7do 7f2 7f2 7f2 7f2 7f2 7f2 7f2 7f2Results in my crappy exel:
I don't really know if its good for smthng, 50 games simply not enough for proper stats, esp with AI5 diversity, but whatever I'm too lazy for further testing.
All in all I think that fire stall is simply overpowered against AI5.

Do notice that all of these cards are upgraded  so that give you a very high advantage when fighting just though i would point that out

Took someone elses unupped FG test idea, modified it, and now farm HB's with it.  Roughly 80% win ratio.  Losses mainly to bad starting hands.  *Yawn*

Just tried this one out for myself... doesn't seem to have the punch needed to win before deckout, unless im doing something wrong... or maybe I just had sucky luck. Just lost 4 in a row. In all but 1 case, i decked out. Even w/ all 3 lycans going fairly early.
Whether the glass is half full or half empty is a moot point. It is always filled to the brim. It is only a matter of by what. The real question is: What fills you?
If your zombie plan is
kill -9 `ps l | awk '{print $2" "$3" "$9}' | grep "Z" | awk '{printf("%s ",$2)}'`

I think the deck is supposed to be used as liquid antimatter. The lycans are just there to deal more damage.
