So our plans with the guild point system always involved having guilds face off in an epic championship. Now the question is, are any guilds interested? The championships will consist of both PvP and non-PvP challenges, possibly in formats never before seen in the forums. It will last for roughly 6 weeks through Brawl and Trials, though the timing is still up in the air.

If a guild participates, all of its members can work on challenges. But there might be selected teams for stuff like RPs and PvP, in which case several active members will have to be selected for the tasks. So which guilds are interested? We will host the event even with 2 participant guilds, but the more, the merrier. If you're interested, ask around in your guild please to see how many active and passive participants you can muster.

If there are more than 4 willing guilds, we will take Guild Points into account (calculations for which will start in a few moments). What system should we use here? Perhaps letting top 3 guilds enter, and having the rest participate in a qualifier?

Anyway, I am fine with the non-pvp stuff as long as it's puzzle-style and not brawl-style.

RainBros are in. I like the of using Guild Points to determine seeding, as opposed to outright preventing guilds from entering. You could also have a very slight upgrade advantage based on Guild Points.

Thunderbolts are always ready to crash. PvP is a lot easier to get people to do than non-PvP, so I'm obviously biased towards that. Current points should count towards a point advantage in the Championship (not too large) and determine seeding. With Guilds not being too numerous, I imagine everyone could participate.

Having individual events seems pretty bad, guilds are all about team work after all.

I also don't think the puzzle stuff should be eliminating anyone, I'd those to be just a little bonus (like getting some points for doing them, but not getting any penalty for not doing them).

Ok, talked with a couple guildmates and pretty much all of them are not interested in the non-pvp stuff at all, so it's probably best to scrap that part.

I agree with omitting the non-PvP.

I think it would be reasonable to have a two-stage set up, where the first stage matches a few players from each guild in a few matches each, and players can score points for their guild by winning games. The second stage would then be a final between the top two guilds.

I dont agree with omitting non-pvp completely. We already have only pvp and only non-pvp events, so we should look to combine both, and guilds is a perfect opportunity as there are different types of people in each guild. If its just pvp, might as well just have a seperate pvp event for it.

I dont agree with omitting non-pvp completely. We already have only pvp and only non-pvp events, so we should look to combine both, and guilds is a perfect opportunity as there are different types of people in each guild. If its just pvp, might as well just have a seperate pvp event for it.
There's no reason to have them if very few people actually want them.

For what it's worth, i see Guilds as encompassing all aspects of the forum, both PvP and Non-Pvp.

I feel a Guild Championships should reflect that. Some people prefer PvP, some prefer Non-Pvp, I think it should have both :)

EDIT: but I'm not too fussed either way, just my 2 cents
