Game Suggestions and Feedback / Re: Rewrite Dive
« on: December 13, 2010, 10:23:36 am »
I don't like these ideas.
Changing Dive like that would nerf Antimatter use on creatures with Dive. Now Antimattered Dived creature keeps negative attack at the end of turn (on trainer at least).
Buffing SoR would enable OP combos like catalyzeme explained.
Making changes to Sky Blitz? Well, lets first wait till it gets into the real game.

Game Suggestions and Feedback / Re: New Idea for Elements: Saved Decks
« on: December 13, 2010, 10:05:24 am »
Even though your idea is valid and it would make things bit easier, coding such saved-decks menu would take some time, and there are more important things to be done than that (bug fixes, developing new content, etc.)

I have saved some deck codes to my e-mail account as a draft message. It's not too hard to fetch codes there, and since every time you want to play Elements you need to be online, so you also have access to your e-mail.

Strategy / Re: RoL+Fractal+Hope Strategy guide!
« on: December 12, 2010, 09:57:43 pm »
i use a rol/ hope deck that looks like this:
Code: [Select]
5lk 5lk 5lk 5lk 6rn 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jp 7jq 7jq 808 808 808 808 808 808 808 808 80e 80e 80e 80i 80i 80i 80i 80i 80i 81qand it gets a win rate of 55.06 percent, not normalized.
Why would you add an Aether Pendulum? That would be the equivalent of adding another tower/pillar.
No it wont. It's actually very different when Seism / Dream Catcher uses Quicksand, or when Decay / Rainbow Steals it. I use :aether mark with 4 :aether Towers and 5 :aether Pendulums.

i play CCWB skipping only dark matter
and ironically, i beat rainbow almost every time
hermes will depend on my draws and his draws
and i never skip dream catcher and eternal phoenix... never...

I have used both heal SoG/hope and the CCWB, CCWB gives me a lower lose rate
If that's true, then you're not playing with Original Version of CCWB, or you're much better player than all others. Everyone (to my knowledge) that has posted their stats with CCWB have really poor success on those 5 FGs. Players included Amilir, The Emperor, Averam, Wushu, Mahon and zse.

@xilirius, if u don't like skipping, i suggest u use the money u get from using this deck to either make the "CC? Why bother?" deck, or the puppychow FGbow (both can be found in the upped FG deck archive)
If you don't like skipping, then put in 4x SoG & Miracle and just STOP SKIPPING. Using CCWB deck forces you to skip more FGs than using that "Life-gain version" of Hope/RoL.

Octane is the only FG that is impossible to win with Hope/RoL, Hermes and Ferox being almost impossible. But that's only 3/24 worth skipping.

CCWB gets beaten every time by Dark Matter, Hermes and Rainbow, having also almost impossible FGs: Dream Catcher and Eternal Phoenix. 5/24 worth skipping.

General Discussion / Re: Elements Christmas Sweeptakes!
« on: December 11, 2010, 12:18:54 pm »
“What Elements related gifts do you want for Christmas?”

I'm so generous that I'd rather like to give than receive on Christmas.

Firstly I'd like to give it to Octane, for all those lovely Unstable Gasses she has given for RoL/Hope.

Secondly I'd like to keep on giving hard time for all my opponents, wheter it was AI or another player.

And last but not least I'd like to give credit to people who deserve it.
Thank you Zanzarino for making this great game.
Thank you Elements Council, Forum Moderators, Tournament Organizers and other Staff members for giving your time for keeping things working in game and forum.
Thank you fellow players and forum members for making Elements community as great as it is.

Archived Decks / Re: Forever Farmers = 3 FG time stallers
« on: December 10, 2010, 03:13:05 pm »
Thank you for the kind words on my deck. Nice to see that it has inspired you!

I've also been thinking that :time :aether duo with that new (totally OP) Silence card. I'd use at least 2 Anubis, and most likely 1-2 Mindgate, but I haven't really had the time to make Beta-deck based on that idea. Seeing your version helps me a lot on that process.
* edit *
Code: [Select]
5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 7n2 7n2 7q5 7q5 7q5 7q5 7q5 7q5 7q7 7q7 7q8 7q8 7q8 7q8 7q8 80b 80d 80d 80d 80d 80d 80d 80h 80h 80j 80j 80k 80k 80k 80k 80k 80k 81q 81q 81q 81q 81q 81q 81q 81q 81q 81q :-\ Silence.
This might be too light on :time quanta, needs some testing. Anubis can also be replaced with :aether Nymph or Nymph's Tears. Single TU can be replaced with 3rd Mindgate.* waits for this topic to moved to Beta-decks *

Rainbow Decks / Re: Check my Weapons Collections
« on: December 10, 2010, 10:46:28 am »
Nice deck, I had it in T50 some 3 months ago. 8) Only difference on my version was that I had 1 Tower replaced with SoR, so AI could sometimes annoy people more with those weapon skills.

Forum Archive / Re: Stop making farms.
« on: December 10, 2010, 03:08:07 am »
Well lucky for you guys, Crusader is going to be in like every single biting farm now. :D
No it wont. There are no biting nor other kinds of farms when Crusader comes in 1.26.

I was wrong, T500 comes much later.

Strategy / Re: The ULTIMATE anti-FG strategy thread
« on: December 09, 2010, 01:16:23 pm »
note: CCYB IS better that RoL/ Hope (not the other way around)
Is that so? :o Surely you have some numbers, stats and whatnot, to back up that kind of a claim. If so, then let me see and add them to my earlier post for stats comparison.

Aether / Re: Silence
« on: December 09, 2010, 09:34:12 am »
This card design *****! What is the purpose for this? Giving major buff for :rainbow decks?

So far every card in this game has had some innate weakness, that gave the opponent way to counter it, but this card has none. All you have to do is just play this, and opponent is screwed for next turn. >:(

Only way to make this balanced card would be making it work like Sundial - instead for "You don't play anything next turn!" it would be "We don't play anything next turn." Raising the cost for the card is just gonna make it unplayable, and we don't need more collectors items Relic, Chimera, and Skeleton are enough already.

Crucible Archive / Re: Antidote | Antibiotic
« on: December 09, 2010, 12:44:26 am »
I love the mechanics of this card, and it's very well balanced. Otyughs could eat poisonous creatures with this? Also interesting that unupped is a spell, but upped is a permanent. I guess SoG is like that, but unupped shard does nothing.

The name of the upped version doesn't seem to fit though. Antibiotics kill biotic things, such as bacteria. Poison isn't caused by bacteria, but by toxic chemicals. It's different from disease. But I guess viruses aren't affected by antibiotics, nor are they poisonous, yet they still cause poison. So it's not a big deal.
My brother said the same thing, actually. I named the upped version of the card "Antibiotic" because antibiotics are generally mass-produced, fitting the re-usable effect of the card. Antidotes, as far as I'm concerned, aren't.
I also have some issues with the naming, maybe it could be changed to Antivenom | Antidote.
Antidotes are pretty simple compounds, so those are in fact generally mass-produced. Some (for example EDTA) even in much larger quantities than antibiotics. Keeping your original, well thought, reasoning in mind, name Antivenom would make sense. Antivenom is a biological product (antibody to be exact), that can be used to treat envenomation. Those antivenom molecules (as all antibodies) are much harder to produce than most other medicines.
I'm inclined to believe someone who sets their avatar to a Mutation symbol. The only problem I have with the names you listed is that it seems... out of order. Not by definition, but by the way they sound. It would be expected for an upgraded card to sound more powerful or capable, unless it were to be a downgraded version of the unupgraded (eg. Minor Phoenix or Microabomination). Antivenom has a very harsh sound to it, making it sound even more powerful than the simple Antidote.

I understand your reasons and the definitions work well; it's just that the words seem out of order. Thank you for the feedback.
True that, those names don't sound exactly right. Oh well, at least I tried. I'll just have to try harder next time... :-[

BTW that symbol means Biohazard, not just image on Mutation card, nor just the band.  :P
