Nerf This Card! / Re: Combo: Dive + Twin Universe

I can confirm this bug ...oh wait...  :))

Make a poll for this thing. I'm pretty sure there are more people here who think 20|3 Elite Wyrms are bit too big.

What is a farm deck? My definition: A Top50 deck that has 6 or more rare cards.

At least Soul Catcher, Crusader, Silence, Sky Blitz, and Catapult (=5/7) are strong enough for being staple cards in FG or HB grinding decks. Problem is not on those cards if you can't see what potential they have.
no, they are NOT strong enough.  stop simply pushing an exactly opposite comment without any explanation or effort.  the next time YOU make any observations or opinions as a player, ill simply show up and say you are wrong without adding anything?

i am NOT saying you are trolling, you may very well feel this exact way about this subject.  But it is a very common tactic of trolling to respond exactly like you are, attacking me personally instead of providing ANY proof or discussion.
DoSA - FG grinder based on Soul Catcher (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,17967.0.html)
Light Brigade - FG grinder based on Crusader (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,18285.0.html)
Not yet strong enough for FG grinding. In this form winning around half Half-Blood games.

I haven't played FG a lot, but they certainly are hard.  This whole theory is rather confusing, but yes, AI5 does need to be improved. AI6 is fine, it's only problem is the AI which is (obviously) getting better.
Also, for AI7, see this idea I cooked up before I got redirected to this thread -
http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,18599.0/topicseen.html
AI5 is now improved (version 1.26). Was it improved enough? Maybe not. But anyway, Half-Bloods are now giving harder time for grinders and rewards are also little bit better - higher change to win upped cards.

Archived Decks / Re: DoSA - Fractal Retrovirus (FG grinder 1.26)
« on: December 31, 2010, 10:13:40 am »
I want to like it, but I am not convinced it's superior to established grind decks.  CCYB, I'm fairly sure, still has a higher win rate.  While this seems to be potentially effective against a wider range of gods than ROL/hope, it tends to lose and win more ambiguously and over a longer period of time.  Optimal cards/min is definitely higher with ROL/hope, and win % is higher with CCYB.  It seems to try to do both at the same time, and ends up being less attractive than either.

That said, it's good to see a FG grind deck that socks Eternal Phoenix in his smug face.
It takes a while to find optimal build you know... First versions of RoL/Hope weren't that good either. And CCYB? Let's keep it out from this topic, ok. I just don't want to start ranting about that deck once again (use Search if you want to know my thoughts of that deck).

I've now started collecting some stats for the version 1.1. So far 50% wins from 6 games :P. Winning games take some 7-8 mins, and losses ain't gonna last even that. I'll add detailed stats to 1st post when I reach 50+ games.

Hermes, Rainbow, Dark Matter.

Based on how hard those are for FG-grinding decks I've used: :rainbow, RoL-Hope, Voodoo, DoSA.

Game Suggestions and Feedback / Re: Upgraded Cards in Bazaar

This would just save the trouble of
1)Buy a card
2)Leave Bazaar
3)Upgrade the card
Is that really much of trouble? Wasting a lot of time doing that?
also, this means it is going to take twice as long for me to load the bazaar screen, which I am definitely against.

I often go to the bazaar to view my cards instead of my deck because it loads sooooo much faster.
^Well said. Too bad the "card image fix" from 1.25 isn't working properly.

Gravity / Re: Catapult | Trebuchet

Fun tip VS Osiris with CCYB?: antimatter some early pharaohs, negative attack creatures have more priority for trebuchet than frozen ones. It sure delays the scarab swarm.
Fun tip VS Osiris with DoSA?: Don't pop multiple Retroviruses in one turn when Osiris has multiple Trebuchets on board. That way you avoid getting couple dozen poison counters during next rounds... :-[

Buff This Card! / Re: Skull Shield | Skull Buckler
« on: December 29, 2010, 04:54:07 pm »
it's low cost makes it perfect for aflatoxin pairing. adding new things would make it cost more, and less effective right after playing the 8 cost afla.
If you're playing mono :death, the higher cost isn't big problem since you can easily get quanta to pay it.
If you're playing something else than mono :death, you're not gonna use Skull Shield/Buckler but some better shield, even if you'd have to pay more quanta for it.

Thus better ability leading to higher cost is not a problem.

If you want Eternity target for not decking out, use Mindgate instead of Photon/RoL/Skeleton/etc. Spine Carapace works great with Aflatoxin, try that for 4th shield.
