Card Ideas and Art / Elite Dragons
« on: December 15, 2009, 10:10:31 pm »

I saw the "hero card" idea in this forum, and sort of liked it at first: Finally somth to balance rainbow decks!
However, I was rather dissappointed by the card ideas. 20 quantum for a card and only 1 allowed is not goin to balance this game. The hero cards should be some powerful creature (with a reasonable cost) with a quantum-hungry skill. So I thought, "what is the most powerful creatures in this game?" the answer is simple: Dragons.
These are the ideas:

Dragon of entropy:
Cost:12
Stats: 10/5
Skill: mutation cost: 3

Dragon of death:
Cost:12
Stats: 10/5
Skill: double infection ( put 2 poison counters on target creature) cost: 3

Dragon of gravity:
Cost:12
Stats: 8/30
Skill: momentum+gravity pull (Massive drag is kind of underpowered, so here goes) cost: 3 for GP, momentum is passive

Dragon of earth:
Cost:13
Stats: 9/10
Skill: minor earthquake (kill1 pillar) cost: 4 (this guy is a bit OP, so I increased the cost)

Dragon of life:
Cost: 12
Stats:10/9
Skill: Heal (player is also targetable) cost:3

Dragon of fire:
Cost:12
Stats:14/2
Skill: fireball (deal 3 damage to target creature) cost:3(I dont understand y fire creatures have no creature control)

Dragon of water:
Cost:12
Stats:12/5
Skill: Freeze (kinda obvious)cost:5

Dragon of Light:
Cost:13
Stats: 13/13
Skill: Blessing cost :6(blessing would be too powerful)

Dragon of Air:
Cost:13
Stats:9/6
Skill: dive cost:6 (diving dragons *shiver*)

Dragon of time:
Cost: 12
stats:12/4
Skill: hasten cost: 2 (it seems appropiate)

Dragon of darkness:
cost:12
Stats: 8/6
Skill Drain life (drain 2 life from enemy to heal u) cost:3

Dragon of aether:
cost: 14
Stats:8/6
Skill: phase in (give up immortality for 1 turn for double damage)+ immortality(passive) cost:3

All these skills are not meant to be used every turn. they are just here to punish rainbow decks

Random, Normal and Elder / annyoing AI3's
« on: December 15, 2009, 10:10:31 pm »

yeah well, which deck is more dangerous really depends on what deck u use. I hate the gravity guy most becuz it has some nasty devourers to stop my crimson drags and there are there armagios to stop me if I wanted to rush my drags

Rainbow Decks / God Farming - Jmizzle7 style
« on: December 15, 2009, 10:10:27 pm »

I agree that FFQ is not needed mostly, since most of my games end  up with a table of skeles instead of fireflies.
But would shard of Grat be better?

False Gods / If Gemini had RUBY Dragons instead of Massive Dragons...
« on: December 15, 2009, 10:10:19 pm »

well, apart from the fact that 2 gods already use fire, the TU+dragon trick has to work with momentum. Even if the AI always forget to Momentum the drag b4 TU, I think massive drag is better

Trio & Quartet / Unstoppable Dive
« on: December 15, 2009, 10:10:17 pm »

assuming at the deck at 30 cards mean that ur a speed deck, so what are the sundials doing here?
dive+parrallel is still a better option, but thats a good try to make a good deck
At the moment, they are primarily for draw power early game; and occasionally for stall.  If I can use them to get a few extra quanta in the first two/three turns,  I can have something well setup by turn 4.
If Im not mistaken, u only have 3 of those  which is pretty unstable. Most would prefer more reliability for more card draws

Trio & Quartet / can´t touch this
« on: December 15, 2009, 10:10:17 pm »

This is probrably a good deck vs rainbows, but towards the wait n bolt and rush fire decks, its suicide. practically, no deck would be able to out muscle these two decks.

Rainbow Decks / Surprise attack
« on: December 15, 2009, 10:10:15 pm »

Well usually a farenhite deck would have fire bolts and If ur enemy chains sundials ure dead meat
Chaining Sundials itself is not a problem. Actually it helps you because opponents creatures are not doing any damage (if he has any). Problem is only if the opponent has a Sundial up when you are attacking. All you need is one turn without a Sundial and you will win.

I'll try this deck with a Pulverizer to see if it's better.
I thought u knew I was talking about creatureless farenhite+ bolt decks and those decks tend to save the sundials for the end. And as I said, drawing all 6 supernovas is pretty hard and theres a 1/6 chance that its gonna be the  bottom most card in your deck. Ive tried this out on lv 3s and nearly lost
