Off-Topic Discussions / Re: Question about signatures.
« on: January 03, 2011, 01:14:00 am »
In some forums, people go nuts with sig pix. I'm sure you wouldn't want some random person with 17 1000x1000px images in there sig :P
imagine if we had a bunch of people like that, and then look at the "one of our members is a hacker" thread.
There's your reason XD
Simple: Rules to constrain signature proportions, or even approval.

It is disable in this forum. Here (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,17772.0.html) is a good read concerning the discussion to enable this. Like the picture btw.
Thanks. Didn't see the other topic before. Great to know, but disappointing. Especially sad to see that SG virtually despises the idea.

Off-Topic Discussions / Re: Why did you choose your username?

One day, I decided a cool username would be Berserker.
It worked a couple times, but it's often taken.
Then I moved onto Berzerk.
Still taken often.
xBerzerk isn't, but now I regret it. The "x" makes it look terrible.

Can we have name changes!??
...Please? :D
I think Retribution was Redemption at some point, or the other way around... I'm confused :(
Is there anyone we can speak to regarding name changes? I'm really eager to know, and get a name change if possible.

Off-Topic Discussions / Question about signatures.
« on: January 03, 2011, 12:24:53 am »
Why aren't images (mainly sigs) allowed in signatures? I realized the other day that I hadn't made a sig for this forum yet, so I went ahead and threw together a simple one, only to find out that the "[\img]" code isn't enabled signatures. Why is that??

Here's the sig I made by the way:

Half the original attack, 1 HP, and no abilities...

I am struggling to think of a purpose for this card.
Creature swell. Immolation. Mutation/Improve. Half the original attack of most dragons is still 5, and dragons don't even have abilities. Also, with lower attacks, Adrenaline/Epinephrine works more effectively.

IMO, it's a decent trade for a couple :light, rather than a creature simply dying.

"Antemortem is described as that which precedes death. Many mortals have claimed to see their lives flash before their eyes moments before their demise. We are not told of everything, though. An arcane society, who refer to themselves as "The Outcasts", tell us that a mysterious cat leads them through these visions of chaos, bliss, and pain. All the while, their every move is watched intently by starving, avian eyes. If one should ever show the slightest weakness to these eyes, they will descend, and nothing of the mortal will remain.

So stay vigilant. Be strong. Remember, do not display your weaknesses to the eyes and only then might you escape Antemortem.. for now."

Is it bad if I named this deck after my InDev game? :|
(I don't mean to advertise. No links or anything! If it's against the rules, I'll remove it immediately.)

I have to say that the showing for this has been pretty poor in general, which is a shame. There are only maybe two or three cards here that I would consider worthy of passing beyond the Crucible.
Mind voting for or pointing out which ones those are?

Voted 2, 10, 14.

As of now, Flooding/Inundation is the only card that targets rows. It'd be interesting to see more cards that mess around with that. More strategy to be involved in creature swelling.

2: Definitely fun if you can creature spam without the use of Malignant Cells. (It doesn't work on Cells) I mean, who wouldn't want to play with a field of mutants!?
10: Since there's no cure for poison and all the ones in the Crucible are being beaten at voting, may as well have a way of retrieving poisoned creatures. Sort of.
14: Again, targeting rows. Good counter against :fire. Works against and for :death. Definitely not OP, and works in the middle of that Flooding. (;

Vote for #2 or risk mutation, which can be hazardous to your health!
...I mean it.

Is there any way we can test these decks of ours without the use of hacks?
Reason I'm asking is because the deck I'm making relies heavily on gaining 3x from the mark..

Edit:

I got this really great idea. What if the trainer had a FG mode!? A button to toggle it on/off.

Features:
*200 Initial Max HP
*3x Quanta Mark
*2x Deck
(Doubles whatever you have in your deck upon entering play)
*Played by AI (Spectator mode - Toggle)?
*Draws 2 cards instead of 1.
