Loving the new art. (; A bit more time spent on it, and it would look just like your everyday Elements card.

I think he means abilities that appear under the card, ones vulnerable to lobotomize. Devourer, Poisonous, etc. would be restored.Sounds like a great idea to me. The name of the cards could also be changed in this process to be of more direct relevance to the Ankh, instead of the broad idea of Resurrection.
What about making this a permanent? I realize it's already in the Crucible and being voted upon, but as a spell it's kind of lackluster. It's an extra card in your deck to save a creature, when you could just pack more creatures and play them without relying on your opponent to kill your creatures first. If it's a indefinite-duration, infinite-charge permanent, then it acts as a failsafe for your creatures. Couple that with Angels and you have a very stable creature setup. Since it's not bringing things back at full attack every time, the opponent can still whittle you down... just be careful you don't play this against an Otyugh.
Here's how this would work as a permanent with a Golden Dragon:
10|10 Dragon is played, killed
5|1 Dragon returns to life, killed again
2|1 Mini-Dragon returns to die again
1|1 Cool-Looking Photon says "yay, here I go, watch me!"
They couldn't stack like Boneyards, of course. But even Pegasus/Blessing decks would get good mileage out of this if it was a permanent. I've always thought one of Light's themes was stable creatures (I mean, Archangel?), and this would add to that greatly.
to anyone that says Farmer Joe isnt a FG, to you- /raspberry. would it be an easier fg? yes. is that a bad thing? not in my opinion. and honestly i think that playing against farmer joe *would* be fun, it would be like running into the pink bouncing blobs in the crater in ff7. more fun than playing against brimstone: http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,12524.0.htmlAgreed. Besides, Farmer Joe does have a lot going as a FG. It's not a rusher, but it does creature spam and stay alive for a hell of a long time, putting up quite a fight. Could use a couple permanents, though. Maybe a Jade Staff and Diamond Shield?
Take a look at Winter if you haven't already, folks - of course I'm biased, but I'd love to see that card ingame. Water would get a decent weapon. Are you saying Trident isn't good enough?! It has feelings too, you know. We don't want another suicidal weapon on our hands. That would just be awkward. For all of us.
This could be a very interesting card and a good one for light. First of all is that I like the card art even thought the ankhs are Egyptian and have nothing to do with re-birthing things. So maybe put in some headstones or something a little more relevant. But that doesn't really have to do with the actual card so let me get to that.Facts on Ankhs: http://www.holoweb.net/~liam/pictures/ankh/ankh.html.
I think that right now the card has an OK concept but I don't think it'll appeal to many. I think that the ability is a little weak and that you may need to have it be something a little different, perhaps, "When target creature comes back to life, it comes back as x | 0 where x is it's normal attack." Then it gets an amazing affect and it's OP. But if this were to happen, you may have to raise the cost of the card by or .
But This card will be great in decks like immo rush. Using Immo on a dragon to get another dragon out and still get the attack of the first dragon could be a great combo. The only problem I have it or a phoenix, when it dies, does it come back as a 3/4 | 1 phoenix or does it become ash or a 0 | 1 ash? That's the only confusion I have.
This card has my vote throughout the different levels, nice card over all, numbers.
So.. why is it available through notifications then? Shouldn't it either be all or nothing in this case?I'm sorry for reviving a dead thread, but it makes me curious as to why we can't view the reasons for our Karma. I read in the other thread that the reason for not being able to view the Karma Log was in fear of "revenge" Karma, which I assume is used negatively. Since the negative Karma is gone.. Why can't we view it? I just got another one, and I don't know what for. Nor do I want it, if it wasn't for good reason.Besides "revenge" Karma, it would also lead to "Karma Exchange", where members give Karma more easily to other members who have given them Karma in the past. I have seen this happen a couple of times, which is why full Karma logs are not visible everyone.
One extra vote can change a lot. My Antidote had 3 less votes than Big Bubble, the winning card in the Water Crucible. If I'd been any more proactive in advertising my idea, Antidote might have gone through instead of BB, seeing as it only needed 2 more votes.Kick-start vote meaning when the card is being voted on in the Crucible, it will have a free extra vote added to it to increase its chances of moving onto Forge. Of course, the free vote would only last for one round of voting.I see what you mean in terms of the 'kick-start' votes, but then that feels a bit off - how many votes 'should' they get then? Just 1? That doesn't seem like an improvement to the automatic submission process...
Regardless of what's being focused on, awards are in place to encourage people to compete. I'm pretty sure that at least 30% of the people who enter competitions do it at least partially for the rewards. With better rewards, the only possibility I see is more people entering, hungry for the prize. Competitors still have to work hard to actually win these prizes. (;
What's your idea? Regardless of how stupid it may seem, I'd love to hear it.
Anyway, my idea revolved around the '*' symbol you find in front of newly recent cards. Suppose they were more like 'extra' lives, so that they aren't considered for the archival process; if you got into 3rd place or higher, the card would then get two stars, or '**', meaning that it would survive TWO rounds of elimination in the Crucible, if it has the lowest number of votes for two rounds...
That might be a bit much though. Anyway, I'm thinking that I need to construct some sort of 'Legend' in the Crucible polls so that people understand what is up for transfer to the archive, what's a reused card idea, etc. ^^; Perhaps adding a '+' or '^' sign for each time a card idea has been reworked and resubmitted, to show the 'progress' of a mechanic and how it evolves from one to the next voting stages...
..Does the statement above make it a requirement to post in the FG Proposal area for this competition? It might be a good idea to to make it a requirement for the next 3 FG competitions. It's what we have been doing with card competitions as well because that way people don't spam the competition topic with feedback. It's not a requirement. It's just encouraged for those who wish to receive feedback.I'm gonna go ahead and add it to the OP for peopel to post their submissions into the FG Proposal area for discussion. Is it a requirement or strictly for those who wish to receive feedback?
