Whenever you get lucky with the Oracle ... CLOSE THE DEAL ... RIGHT NOW!!!

Don't go telling your brother, posting on the forums, jacking off on it in the bathroom,
to school so you can tell all your friends, waiting until next weekend so even your grandma can
hear how lucky you are ... before you hit that "get the card" button.
But I like to jack off on it in the.. Nevermind that. Yeah I definitely should have, given the benefit of hindsight, but this is the first time it's ever happened to me and my computer hasn't crashed for nearly half a year. Kind of difficult to change the past. Someone grant me a Reverse Time / Rewind? :X

*headdesk* yeah, that must hurt.

I guess that in the time you were afk telling it to your brother/friend/cousin/neighbour your internet might have done something bad and made the thing crush... I guess it could be a prevention mechanism to avoid card spamming (a hack).

Edit: just saw your edit. Yeah, the version was just changed. That must be the reason...
It might. I'm not sure, though. I admit to having tested the available hacks for Elements in the past on an alternate account. (Separate issue. Long story short, it was caught swiftly and IP ban was resolved as I clearly have no intent on harming the game or community.) Through memory editing, it's not possible to glitch/hack cards through the Oracle. If the skills of a hacker are of a caliber high enough to hack through the Oracle to gain cards, I'm pretty sure they would be capable of disabling such a feature, which probably doesn't exist in the first place.

Like I said, it's unlikely that an update would cause my computer to crash. The update is server sided, and if anything, my client would try to receive nonexistent packets and at worst, the browser itself would have crashed. Instead, it was my whole computer.

When you say "blew up my computer", do you mean literally, or just glitch? I'm sorry, but if it glitched, exploded, or anything that would quit your browser, then you probably didn't get the nymph.
No, I said BSOD (Blue Screen of Death). My entire computer shut down suddenly after giving me the blue screen for about half a second. It was running loudly, so perhaps it overheated. I know I didn't get the Nymph, this is a request to moderators / game masters as to whether or not I can be... reimbursed for unfortunate events? Unsure if those are the right terms, but something along those lines.

Okay, so here's the story.

I logged on to Elements around 5-10 minutes ago for the Oracle. Lo, and behold, a wild Purple Nymph appeared! I was so overjoyed, I went and told my brother about it. Then I took a screenshot and proceeded to save it and post it here on the forums. "I know today today will be a good day." Though, whatever power was granted to me via the Oracle (see screenshot) kind of blew up my computer. I got BSOD just as I was about to click "Get the Card!" I jumped out of my chair, fell over, screamed in pain, then at the computer, then at my brother. Anyway, I didn't get the Purple Nymph and I'm kind of bummed now.

Not really sure if I'm posting in the right section for this, but..
Tough luck or gracious redemption?
(Do I get the card? ;~;?)

**Edit; Just logged back into Elements. The options are different. Was there an update?? It's unlikely that it'd be the cause of the crash, but I know the options didn't have AI speed and Music when I logged on for the Oracle. Oh, and I didn't get the 300 Electrum from the Oracle either. ):

#1. Simple, great music, and great message. Could've been edited better, though.

Alright, a bit of comments. :P
Entry 1: nice and clean, but I prefer sharp borders and it's text space is definitely too little.
Entry 2: mine, vote for it! :D (kidding). I know, art's definitly not on par with other borders, but I hoped to get at least another vote thanks to the ideas I had - mainly, the lateral tag and the inclusion of Weapon damage and Shield damage reduction.
Entry 3: Definitely good looking, but I don't think we need color text.
Entry 4: A nice idea, but colors are a punch in the eye. Ewwww! I like the external border's design though.
Entry 5: Lateral band is nice, the rest not really. I really dislike the upgraded icon.
Entry 6: Nice exercise, but I'm all for modernism.
Entry 7: Nice idea, very clean, but... How do you use all that space? O.o at least use a bigger picture...
Entry 8: I hate that black border.
Entry 9: Not really my favourite design, nice ideas, but the color tones are not the best.
Entry 10: I hate that black squares.

All in all, I voted for 2 (of course) and 1, but I don't mind 3 winning. :)
3's text color is white..

Oh, poo. Misread rule #1. What a naive mistake. @_@

Anyway, I voted for 3.

Flooding meets Fallen Elf... This card seems quite powerful, however I can't see any good use for it. It is a very poor lock: in addition of seven untouched creatures - same as flooding - your opponent has a chance to get powerful mutants, that will die only once in a while. On the other hand, if you want to fill your own side of the ground and hope for good mutations, since the first 7 creatures are untouched, you would need to fractal, which requires to splash in a third element. Graveyard will hardly work: if the abomination/mutant/death probabilities are the same as for Fallen Druid - this seems logical - there's only a 1 in 10 die chance.

All in all, this looks inferior to Inundation, which is already a bad card (happily it will get buffed by next upgrade, decreasing upkeep to 1 :water). One possible buff is to make it affect the whole board, at the cost of an increased upkeep and CC, but then it would definitely be OP.
All of the above is true. It was never meant to be a good card for winning a game. Rather, I hope for it to have great potential in fun games, especially with FG. (Imagine a FG with 4x2 of these + Graveyards!)

I don't know what just happened, but I got all 3 spins upon beating a level 5 with 99 HP.
Win was natural, by creatures attacking.

Graviton Guard
Pharoah
Catapult

Any glitch involved? Just curious.

ASDFJKL; LAST MINUTE ENTRY PENDING.
IMAGESHACK IS BEING SLOW AND I AM FREAKING OUT. O_O'
i don't know why people insist on using imageshack.  Use tinypic for now.  There's a billion options out there.  Photobucket is good enough too but you'll need an account.
Photobucket's image compression is really bad. PNG and BMP images aren't even allowed and are converted into JPEGs. Tinypic tends to remove images too often. IMO, Imageshack is the best.
