The cards are cheap and can be played from the mark and novas if necessary. It has a life mark so it may appear to be monolife - but it isn't. Perfect for a surprise nova and explosion. You can hold back on the nova if you see gravity mark from zeru because he will have blackhole. But his discord may give you the quanta you need to play your non life cards.

It isn't perfect, but it seems like the best option. Graboid deck could work but you are screwed vs blackholes because you might lose your time quanta.

Thoughts please?!

not necessarily - there is no way to predict what darkness will bring against us, especially in the first round.

I was just offering an alternative to the deck you made since I mistakenly claimed there was a mirror shield. PA could be useful vs steals - that is all. Earthquake will hurt them if they have a pendulum based deck though. If they have a mono with devourers - it won't do anything.

So it is left to "predictions" - but we can't predict anything. I say take what you want and you are confident you can play well.

Its up to you on the cocks. That deck will require us to discard 3 from our vault - totally worth it in my opinion.

This solves our lack of pendulums and is good vs discord. It can beat blackhole discord too (if played correctly - ie hold back on the nova until you are using them to play an explosion or fog shield). It CANNOT beat discord/earthquake. It gets pwned by earthquakes because dragons are expensive.

That deck is a little variable - you could add a staff, heal or arsenic for example.


Another idea is the graboidbow - I will test now.


My last idea is dragon/sky blitz/wings. we have 4 pendulums to spare at the moment - we could use those to power the wings/skyblitz and the rest would be life pillars for the dragons. I will make and test.

Of these cards I have the following upgraded: 3x phase shield, 2x fractal
I could upgrade another 2 cards if needed.

this deck works pretty damn well. it comes down to meta game and what the opponent has but the deck even beat a phase shield stall thanks to the bonds.

I will test this deck a little but I suspect that upgrading firebolts is not that effective. The upgrade helps if you need to use them as CC and are facing discord - but for a OTK it doesnt matter if it cost 2 or 1 to play. Maybe upgrading the shield or the fahrenheits?

Wow Im dumb unupped bolts are 3 not 2... But still after some testing - there is an incredible excess of  . With that in mind, upgrading the 2 shields is totally worth it. They will block more damage upped. I recommend 4 upped firebolts, 2 unupped bolts and 2 upgraded shields like the below.

Still an excess of life quanta..... But thats okay I think this deck works pretty well and can kick butt against any stall deck.

Been messing around with this deck, I'm like 10-0 against Fractal Devourers / Vampires custom AI3. I took out Bonds because Fractal + Bonds = scary. I'm a bit worried about Pandemonium / Voodoo Doll now, though.

derp ninja'd. Well, uh, anyways. Where does that leave me?

If you want to take this deck, what else would you like to use upgraded (6 or 9 upgrades cards please)?

Also, without bonds you are counting on the hope shield. The adrenaline is to play on a firefly so you can get 4 light in one turn and get the hope shield up quickly.  Another adrenaline might be good - that or another heal.

upgrades must come in sets of 3 per the event card rules - so I recommend you upgrade either another phase shield OR a Forest Scorpion (so that if you get it you can choose to fractal that one...)

Make the deck with your upgrades and I will post it in our round 1 section.
