Deck Help / Re: Mutant Mayhem
« on: October 05, 2010, 12:47:19 pm »
For the classic timebow, here's what you need:
-1 boneyard
-1 bonewall
-1 empathic bond
-1 mind flayer
-1 fallen druid
-2 mindgates
-1 vamp stiletto
+2 hourglasses
+1 eternity
+1 protect artifact
+2 quintessences
+1 ice shield(MUST be upped)
Change mark to time
This deck focuses on using all your hourglasses to draw cards for speed, and then using an eternity to rewind a skeleton when you are about to deck out. Remember that in this deck, you will have to try to spend as much time as possible to wait for various combos, like Druid/Oty + Quint, RoF + Bonewall, Eternity + Protect artifact, and so on. I agree with hrmmm, you should also add some sundials. Here is a good example of this type of deck:http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,1615.0.html (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,1615.0.html)

I personally love this kind of deck, if you want to take it a little bit away from lava golem rush and more just plain rush, Scaredgirl made another precog based AI3 grinder:http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,6298.0.html (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,6298.0.html)
This one is my favorite.

I don't know what you were thinking about, but to me, it looks like a pretty balanced deck. Although it is 35 cards, they are all pretty much completely necessary. Great deck.

They are useful too but an eternity will put an oppenent in a card lockdown
But Eternity does cost 3 time quanta per turn, which might be too much for the amount if pillars you have.

You can probably take just one out and put in an owl's eye.

Lookin' pretty good, maybe, just maybe, change a tower or two for a pendulum?
No, you wouldn't need a pendulum, and all the quanta from the pillars is necessary for maximum efficiency with this deck.

Really nice deck, the cards synchronize really well with each other, but isn't 18 pillars a bit much? Maybe take one or two out and put in an owl's eye or something.

Dude, how is having an Hourglass a waste of deck space or quanta?
Double draw = Double pillar Draws = Double quanta gained = Enough quanta to support eternity AND the HG.
There would not be double quanta gained. That wouldn't make much sense. Also, using eternity and the hourglass at the same time results in 4 wasted time quanta.

OMFG
You have 4 time towers, what do you mean you won't have enough quanta? Let me show you some math:
Eternity costs 3 quanta
Hourglass costs 1 quanta
3+1=4
Also, you get enough quanta to play BOTH with your Snovas. PUT IN AN HOURGLASS!!!
Don't freak out and OMFG. The extra time tower is just in case the last time tower is in the bottom of the deck. Also keep in mind that this is a 32 card deck.
But what if you have eternity at the bottom of your deck? Or gravity shield? You should still put an hourglass in there for drawing.

An adrenaline or another weapon in case one or two get destroyed, if you have it a trident would be a great sub, since i don't have that in there yet :P
Trident is bad, unless you can put 3-4 in here, which I advise you do not.
He is correct, Eternity is a better sub now that i think about it.
What about a lobotomizer? That might be useful.

Interesting deck, looks fun with lots of variety, what would you suggest replacing the nymph with?

That is a good point. I am assuming you have 2 fogs for the same reason as the spirits? I am also assuming you meant it flips between the arsenic and druidic staff.
no I have a flying weapon in there, so I can use both of them.
You said vamp dagger :)
Sorry I didn't see the flying weapon, good idea. Start getting that deck upped somehow, and you'll be on your way.
