I actully like the idea instead of upper and lower rows, It should be a checker board. Killing every other creature spot.

Deck Help / Mono quantum deck destroyer
« on: March 17, 2011, 04:42:31 pm »
This Deck destroys mono decs. Between amped (steals two quantum) and mitosis Devourers, You end up with LOTS of darkness Quantum.

I some times shut them down on turn three. and drain life kills whatever they brought out before that turn. Works "ok" against 4 or more color decs, But destroys 3 or less color decs.

What would you guys use to improve it?

Deck Help / Re: 170 Bonewalls

Add Vultures and Otyughs
I thought about those, But kept them out to keep deck around 30-ish cards.... Because your engine (pandys) Are needed early and often.

uintessence for the elves? That way they can be played without getting killed off by Pandemonium or opponent's control. Because Skeletons alone suck if they put a shield up ;)
You were fast my friend, (hopes you do not hear that allot from your mate! :P)

With reverse time/p universe from pandys. You almost always end up with a big critter. But quint might work as well.

Deck Help / 170 Bonewalls
« on: March 17, 2011, 03:52:06 pm »
Would anybody like to try to tweak this deck? It wins about 70% And really really irritates the opponent. I regularly have 35-50 bonewalls up, And have exceeded 170.

You use pandys to kill opponent critters and increase bonewalls and skeletons. Getting Bonewall out before boneyard should be your strategy. Use affatoxin on your skeletons then pandy in a turn or two to increase wall and skeletons again. Elf is for mutation but can be used for affatoxin if playing an opponent that uses big/ or few critters. You can also use affatoxin on opponent critters to help get bonewall up before using a pandy.

When you have allot of skellys out, Pandy casts reverse time on them allot! Between reverse time / parallel universe and elf you end up with some pretty big critters.

And its hard to deflag/steal 35 bonewalls!

So if anybody wishes to test this dec and has an idea to improve it, I would be grateful.

General Discussion / Later Nymphs?
« on: March 17, 2011, 03:35:12 am »
It's probably chance. But in the last week or so I have been doing oracle spins late in the day. The thing is, I got three nymphs in one week.

Could the time of the day effect what you get? Silly, I know. But to get three in one week, When it took me months to get that, Well seems more the coincidence.

Game Suggestions and Feedback / Re: Booster tournaments
« on: March 15, 2011, 03:01:53 am »
Correct. You start a tourney with (in MTG it's booster packs) a set amount of random cards. (every player) and then you have a time limit in which to make a dec.

Very fun. Making a dec work, With random cards, Is both challenging and amusing!

Deck Help / Re: my dec ideas

best deck that you have their is this one:
Code: [Select]
61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61r 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 623 623 623 623 623 623all you need to do is replace the PU for a Aether pillar.
Thxs for the input. I appreciate your opinion, Even if I disagree. Although this may be one of the better decs. It has zero flare. And I so like decs that take a little more strategy.

But as far as win %, This dec does do as well as any I posted.

Also by keeping track of desynced games it might help the developer in finding any bugs that might be causeing the desync as well as a data base on whom is most at risc of being desync.

If that is at all possible.

Do you have or is there a way to have Booster tourneys? I come from the mtg community, And really enjoyed the booster tourneys.

Can it be done and do others want it?

Design Theory / Stupid/twisted card ideas
« on: March 14, 2011, 08:19:59 pm »
1. Counter quantum cards > A neutral card that cast five to cast. It becomes a quantum generate. Generating 5 random quantums per turn. Can only be used once, Is discarded after use. So you can save it for when u need it BUT only once. So for instance the third turn after you put it out when u use it it would give you 15 quantums (not sure if they should be random or match your mark)

2. Remove Immaterial> either green or dark. Cost = The # of turns gone by

3. quantum stealer permanent> steals quantums from opponent = steals quantum = to turns played.

4.Unicorn>green> can assume any creature ability. Casting cost 4 Quantum. Ability> steal ability cost> casting cost plus ability cost of creature it imitates.

noxious gas> cause 1 point poisoning for every 8 quantum used by opponent poisoning is NOT accumulative for THIS card

Beat down> dark> causes both players to lose 4 health each turn

I'll add more in the future

Nerf This Card! / Re: Pandemonium (ungraded)
« on: March 14, 2011, 07:36:22 pm »
# i mean seriously, a card that can remove quintescence should cost more than that. quintescence cost 4 :aether to play while pandemonium cost 3 :entropy to remove it?
No mass effect card (except Nightfall/Eclipse) can touch a creature with quintessence on (or a burrowed one either)
Actually, a "remove Immaterial" Card would not be a bad idea. And yes it should remove from a SINGLE target, But target should be either creature or permanent.
