Time / Re: Shard | Shard of Readiness
« on: November 18, 2011, 10:47:41 pm »While experimenting with a mono time deck, I found that SoR's do double up the creatures spawned from Fate Eggs.the new wording is confusing, - "The target creature's skill cost is now zero. creatures can use their skill twice this turn." I immediately went and made a Fate Egg deck, imagining I would play a shard of readiness and then make 8 creatures out of 4 fate eggs. Unfortunately it only affects the targeted creature, which meant I got only 5. Perhaps the wording should be "The target creature's skill cost is now zero. If it is a creature, it can use it's skill twice this turn."LOL I think the description is fairly obvious. Why would 1 card used on 1 creature allow ALL your creatures to be effected? Also, it was talking about the target creature originally. Why would the 2nd half change?
ETA -200th post yay!
I think the fact that it even works on Fate Egg is messed up. They are supposed to TURN INTO something else; thus the egg is gone. Why would it make sense they are still arond to use a skill again? That's silly...
1 Fate Egg + SoR + 0 Doublemint = Twin Nymphs.
Good fun!
