Round 6 / Re: Belthazar666 (Time) 2 - 1 Syco666 (Fire)

eh, it was less deckbuilding skill/player skill,  and more luck, both in that i got no mana, and that he had that time stick,  and honestly if i had a chance to really confer with antagon about my deck, the deck i woulda used woulda been a pretty good counter, cuz i KNEW he wasnt going to play darkness again.
The expensive offense in the dragons was your flaw, plus no perm control, not luck.
well antagon expected him to play a deck similar to befor, with black dragons, hince the holy lights.

mostly i couldnt do nothing for lack of fire quantum, first round he bounced my dragon but i could play it back fast enough to kill him while miracle keept me alive

second and third rounds i had 2 fire pillars and NO chance of ever winnin against anything >.> i could play one dragon every 5 rounds, totally screwing me over =/

for syco i decided to play the deck with miracles, cause i tested it and it was very nice against times round4 deck (and i exspect exactly that), take early devourers out with holy lights (to prevent fast black dragons, or also enlight them, if he gets one out) OR to heal you (maybe a turn before miracle/kill of enemy), 1 rage pot for every dragon, etc. (bad we dont have more), 2 fhs and 4 dragons for good damage and the 2 miracles (dont use them too late, dragon-spam possible if enough quanta) to gain time-advantage. also ABLE to win (with fhs, hls, miracles) if they really try eqs, and IF we lose that matchup, no important cards (ok, burning pillars) lost.

i woulda much preferd rage pots... i figured they wouldnt be dumb enough to play black dragons again, i asumed for sure, deviant dragons and time stick =/ but with the whole 2 days to deck build i never got a chance to really voice that *sigh*

i was thinkin of the deck as more of a suicide deck, when it goes all out, it goes all out! >>u was talkin about maybe using one so i offerd up one<<

thats why i made it over 40 cards

i was working till now, sry for no replies.

plastiqes deck seems to be nice, but maybe i should use the immos in my master-decks, cause i also could use upgraded phoenix' etc. and still fractal phoenix a good option

syco: mono decks are not possible (or reasonable), and we cannot make decks using all good cards (same with the novas at corrums deck)

ill post my suggestions in a short while.
lol like i said, that first deck i posted would be nice to use, but i didnt expect it to be used, i didnt even really test it, the second deck is the one im expecting to use, the nova's and some of the other stuff can be saved from it, its mostly made from odds n ends, feel free to switch out anything for less usefull cards, >>i figured with the 100s of dragons and fire spirits and the like they would be ok to lose a couple of<<

i came across in one of the forums where next war where going to keep the vault up so u can seat as many pplz as possible each round, tossing out other elements for elements of their type when needed

i think this should be done where that when a player discards 30 cards, all cards from their elements should go into the void >>a separate vault<< and when a situation is that they have 30 cards from their element and 100 of another, they can sacrifice cards not of their element to the void, to pull out a previously discarded card. i say this because if they could swap it out for ANY card from their element, that would add a level of versatility that would make guessing ur opponents next move impossible and make choosing ur original vault unimportant.

i say this not knowing how the rules for it is already stated >>i cant wade through all those forum posts lookin for the convo on it<<

personally i think this would be the best against time, the pillars to flood out their devourers and creature control for the dragons, and then phoenix with immos to out rush him at mid point when he starts playing dragons, doubtful as it is ill play this deck bc of vault restrictions this is my first choice.

that would be an okish suicide deck, i think it could win by hopefully out rushing him, plus the sundials would help with growth while letting me hide from dragons, with all the extra mana thrown everywhere that would make the devourers creature pillars, any comments? >>the sundials would be great against that stupid turtle shield as well =P<<

playing around with it, it has a 50% of going off and playing a dragon turn one and doing alot of damage pretty quick, and it also has a 50% chance of doing nothing =( >>with out the colorless pillars its hard to play fodder for the immo<< we dont have much time to work on these decks and i cant find anyone from team fire =(

well against the AI3 i am 16w 13L, and its all about the draw, i can kill in 5 ish turns when i start with 2 nova, or a firespirit nova and immo, other matches are kinda drawn out, matches i get no nova and no fire spirit i generally lose.

woot i actually have enough time in my day to participate in the deck building process!!

well i know he definitly has

12 time pillar
5   time dragon
2 time staff
6 devour
3 black dragon
1 steal
2 turtle shield
4 stone pillar
1 purple pillar
2 earthquake
2 procrastination
and maybe another procrast and 1 discord
thats 42 out of 48 possible cards, leaving 6 unaccounted for but i believe they are spare parts

this leaves me to believe that itll just be the same deck hes used 4 times now lol, we got any holy lights =P
thats my research on time, a firebolt/ragepot deck or maybe a phase shield stall deck, would wipe this out pretty good, any sugestions?
