The Dark Materials Trilogy by Phillip Pullman
Takes you into a fantasy world where Lyra and her Daemon are destined for a huge adventure, you should read this trilogy because large polar bears are involved. :3 Just kidding im bad at summary so here's an official one: The story involves fantasy elements such as witches and armoured polar bears, and alludes to a broad range of ideas from fields such as physics, philosophy, theology and spirituality. And not to mention how awesome Phillip Pullman is as a writer, its very well written.
Alex rider series- Anthony Horowitz is an awesome writer, and while some make spy books seem like a kid wrote it, he adds different elements of thrill, reality and other cool stuff. I think in each book he dedicates a page to where he got his information from, ie. NASA to get info about a space station. So it really feels like its real.
Ender's game- No need for explanation, its soo good: Set in Earth's future, the novel presents an imperiled humankind who have barely survived two conflicts with the Formics (an insectoid alien race also known as the "Buggers"). In preparation for an anticipated third invasion, an international fleet maintains a school to find and train future fleet commanders. The world's most talented children, including the novel's protagonist, Ender Wiggin, are taken at a very young age to a training center known as the Battle School. There, teachers train them in the arts of war through increasingly difficult games including ones undertaken in zero gravity in the Battle Room where Ender's tactical genius is revealed.
