For my match against  :aether  I like discord/BH (as PF suggested in the other thread, great minds think alike ;) )  Maybe for damage just discord and chargers?  I wish we had some other Entropy cards to splash in  :/  maybe we can salvage some later (AM, maxwell's, etc).  Also, I feel like we are low on damage-dealing cards.  Am I the only one?

Gravity / Re: Event card boycott?

This is obviously a tough choice.

On one hand, yes, the event card is ridiculous.  It puts the focus on itself instead of enhancing the War in any way.  Now, it seems like almost every battle will be not only focused around, but determined by the Event Card.  I don't think that is the purpose of having Event Cards.  The Event Cards should have a blanket effect on the War, effecting each team equally.

Also, this puts a further disadvantage to the newer players.  There is no way they could afford to upgrade that many cards, especially if Event Cards keep coming out under this same theme.  What's the point of a rookie if they get put at a FURTHER disadvantage by Event Cards like this.

On the other hand, this is a game.  This War is not the same as the last War and SG is obviously trying to make some serious changes.  Does anyone know her or the Warmasters' motive behind making an Event Card like this?  Maybe they have a legit motive that would validate a card like this (even though I think that is unlikely).  This is a game and maybe we should take advantage of every rule that we can, even if it is unfair.    ???

I don't like what this Event Card has done to the War.  Not at all.

Round 1 / Re: (Earth) Skydaemon 2-1 (Gravity) smiley56

Great matches.  Sky is a formidable opponent!  My deck:

Code: [Select]
55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55l 55l 55l 55l 55l 55l 55n 55n 55s 55s 55v 55v 576 576 576 576 5og 5oo 5oo 5oo 5oo 5oo

The AMs killed me.  The matches really revolved around whether I would get chargers, or if he would get AMs.

Game 1- I had early chargers and Titan.  He had only 2 AMs early enough and I was able to break through the stone skins.

Game 2- I had no chance.  He had tons of AMs and the majority of my chargers were at the bottom 12 cards.

Game 3- I tried to save chargers for burst damage, but it was too little too late.  My chargers were mainly at the bottom, he had plenty of AMs ready, and it just took me too long.  I did use my BH to try to prevent him from reaching max SS for a turn, but it was pretty pointless.

Well played Skydaemon.  :)

GG,

I really like the changes to my deck that you made.  Thanks a lot!  I don't plan on changing it at all.

After testing with Memory, we added 2 Merc's and took out 2 black holes.

Maybe some PvP-Testing against specific decks would help to improve our decks?
Definately agree.  If anyone ever sees me in chat or anything, I would be happy to help with decks by making potential opponent decks.  Also, I would like to test my deck against decks too.

Here is my latest version:

Code: [Select]
55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55l 55l 55l 55l 55l 55l 55v 55v 55v 55v 576 576 576 576 576 576 61q 61q 61q 61q 61t 61t 61t 61t

The only problem is if they have any kind of CC to play from their hand, I'm screwed.  I only have chargers to do damage and they are completely vulnerable.  I'm not too worried about CC from creature skills because I can lightning those if they are a problem.  Also, black hole helps so if they splash a little of an element into their deck, I can easily drain it.

Other than that, I really like the deck!

I thought about that, but I figured that Pulvy would make dim. shields almost completely useless since I have no way to counter a Pulvy once it is played.  Also, I figured they would evolve the graboids then re-burrow them to get that 4 atk instead of 2.  Giving me a window of opportunity to kill them.
Also, I was hoping they wouldnt get enough out in time to one-turn kill me (with the help of black holes to keep hp high).  But I definately could be wrong thinking that.
Then again, black holes could definately prevent them from getting 3 :gravity needed to destroy the shield.

Do you think something like this would be more effective?

Code: [Select]
55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55l 55l 55l 55l 55l 55l 55v 55v 55v 55v 576 576 576 576 576 576 61t 61t 61t 61t 621 621 621 621
Or this?

Code: [Select]
55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55l 55l 55l 55l 55l 55l 55v 55v 55v 55v 576 576 576 576 576 576 61q 61q 61q 61q 61t 61t 621 621 621 621

Here is my idea for a counter to Earth.
Code: [Select]
55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55l 55l 55l 55l 55l 55l 55v 55v 55v 55v 576 576 576 576 61q 61q 61q 61q 61q 61q 621 621 621 621
The major decks that Earth seemed to use in the last war were Grabber/Shreiker, Lava Golem, or a stall deck.
-The lightnings can kill shreikers or grabbers as soon as they transform.  Also, they can kill lava golems within 2 turns after they are played.  This is why I put 6 lightnings so hopefully I can get them in my hand fast.
-The chargers are to counter any serious stall since they depend on shields.  As long as I can keep them alive...
-which leads me to quints.  They keep the chargers alive and prevent stall cards like basilisk blood which were in A LOT of Earth's decks last war.
-The black holes are to help gain life if a stall game takes a while and the chargers aren't putting up enough damage.  Also, they could prevent Grabboid evolution/shreiker burrowing if they happen to get low on quanta.  Also, the stall decks are usually duo and sometimes trio or more.  So the black holes would provide quite a bit of health in those cases.

Any help and comments are definately appreciated!   :)

Hey guys (and girls haha).  Glad to be here!

24
I would like to be considered.  I have been waiting eagerly to participate in the War and just barely didn't make a team.  I know that you were not impressed with my gravity card collection (haha).  Since, I have been working hard on my unupgraded card collection and now have 6 of every gravity card unupped with the exception of Titan.  Also, I have 6 of every water, fire, entropy, death, and aether.  Along with many cards of the other elements.  I have been working since the end of the auction to get 6 of every unupped cards and have already made a lot of progress.  I am not afraid to work hard and am looking forward to working hard with a serious team.

Score is 20k

PM me if you have any questions or comments!  :)
