"Sacrifice 1 creature" I think this might fit better as a death card the card art is also "deathy"

"Gain 5 life points every time a Pirate or a Buccaneer is summoned."

Also you need to make the card say points as it doesn't while the description does

Maybe you should switch upped and unupped names as rum is much better that grog.

The card effect seems pretty balanced and helps  :life :water so I like it.

I think it would be better with 1 less cost and affect unburrowing or just 2 less cost.

Yeah I guess the schroedy's cat doesn't really break this. The cost and off elementness diminish its usefulness.

imo this can be cost balanced even with cat mostly because you could end up blessing your other cats a lot.

Edit: wait do cats lose there buffs when you use their skill ill go check

Edit: Edit: Sorry I misread your post

Design Theory / Re: Weird idea

You didn't actually defeat your opponent.  You used a card that granted you a win and massively shifted the balance of play.

That being said:

If this were to be implemented, I think 7 turns would be a good starting point.
I also think this would be like a doomsday device card with a time bomb like effect.  The benefit of that is that it can be defused with PC.
I agree with 7 turns but in regards to "You didn't actually defeat your opponent" I don't agree.

Other card games have cards like that and while nobody wants elements to play the same as other card games it is important to have variety in fact if this were eventually put in I would want cards that make mill decks feasible.

The reason I mention that is that if you think about it how would not having any more spells cause you to just die most of the time you would not have even lost had you not decked out

I like this deck when I thought about making a inundation deck I was going to try using nightmare and photon so the ai would fill their middle row mostly with photons. I couldn't get the cost to work out.
