Deck Help / Re: First post- Deck help would be appreciated :D
« on: September 21, 2011, 09:34:33 am »
I like the concept.  The mix of dolls being attack and def, steals for pc, antimatter for healing and stall, even some LS/Antimatter combo, great stuff.  I just think it needs to be upped, and even then it would need a way to draw cards to get the dolls and the rest of its lock.  Ultimately it will end up losing a lot because you could notreach the required cards since the size of the deck offsets its core cards that lack in number.

If you could either add in drawing power, focus on a simpler strategy, or even cut down the deck size, it would help.   I hope that helps.

6 deathstalkers and 1 nightfall is 12 damage per turn, unaffected by PC, which is pretty much like playing a dragon that can only be killed with purify.
And thats at a best case scenario.

Game Suggestions and Feedback / Revisited look on card updates
« on: September 21, 2011, 08:04:25 am »

I do not think that every new card has to add a new effect or ability to the game.

It would be well enough to cleverly use preexisting mechanics on new cards rather than the developer and play testers spending extra effort on new cards with new coding.  Just for the sake of example, you could take an old ability like vampire and apply it to a new creature.   Or even..

As a community we could use old abilities and effects to balance and tweak the current elements with less hassle!

I know this topic has been brought up before, but it seems like a reasonable plea to exercise new mechanics for a faster update with new cards.  I can only assume that creating new cards with new features takes a lot more time than making new cards with existing ones.  I am not saying that the game and its mechanics should never advance. I do realize that is a special aspect that highlights both this game and its community, its just that vets and new players alike should be willing to make small sacrifices here and there for the sake of speed.

I hope this makes sense, I know I did not articulate it as well as I planned.  Thanks!

tl/dr:  For the sake of speed some updates we should use existing mechanics to create new cards rather than spending extra time with new coding and testing.

PC would just about shut this deck down, its a shame you could not afford 3 novas and 2 protect artifacts.

You having those nymphs, and others playing dolls are the reasons why I always put rewinds and cc in my immo rushes.  metametameta

I like your deck though, discord is one of the best weapons to use, P-nymphs are devastating with SoR.   I would love a quint or two in this though, I understand why they are not but damned if they do not help with crucial creatures.

Well done on the rewind/mummy build YawnChainHow.  Makes mummies/rewind combo, scarabs, and pharaohs serious contenders.

You are going to need shields, rewinds, and silence to stall so you can bring out Anubis.  Anubis is always top priority to bring out first if possible.

Silence will be dire to use when playing an Anubis against a CC heavy enemy.  If you can afford to quint an Anubis that just came into play, do so.

I am going to be honest, I like the concept of this deck, but it is very expensive to and slow to get it going.

It really is best suited as a False-God Killer if you would add more cards that focused on; drawing, healing, rewinding, and stalling.

Hope this helps!  Keep building.

Buff This Card! / Re: Flooding|Inundation

Pretty weak card.  The best idea posted would be it gaining the ability to choose random squares to destroy monsters, as well as being able to target immaterial monsters.  SELECT RANDOM TARGETS.

Time really needs an attacker like this.  Good idea.
