Game Suggestions and Feedback / Re: Game ends at 0 cards
« on: July 27, 2011, 11:10:31 pm »
There is a huge difference between creating creatures/perms (blue nymph) and creating cards.
It would mess up the whole mechanic of the game IMO.
The potential to deck out is just a part of the game that you have to plan for.

Pretty OP if you ask me.
Especially if the buff ignores burrow.
Maybe if it was primarily a HP buff....

Card Ideas and Art / Re: Anti-Gravity | Reverse Gravity

What interests me is whether it could also act as a mass lobo of passives (voodoo, obsession, etc...) or whether its more like a luciferin type of mechanic.

Team Underworld / Re: Sportmanship Nominees

I didn't duel much/don't spend much time in chat, but the following names come to mind.
kevkev, ak65ala (for supporting his former team so vocally), TORB (because he is a pillar of the community and the reason I learned about/joined war).

Deck Help / Re: Need help with sixtuple purple nymph deck for oracle.

Butterfly effect and steal are pretty much dead cards here IMO.
Steal less so because you might be able to steal a weapon, but still.
Your primary damage will be from casting antimatter and liquid shadow on opposing creatures, so PC is unnecessary.

I would maybe run this deck with some entropy pillars and fewer pends or else toss some black dragons in to balance the entropy and darkness quanta usage.

That said, in general I suggest not buying cards just for Arena decks at your stage because you're going to lose tons of money that way.
The return on your investment is just not worth it.

The Arena / Re: Extreme rank drops.

Does the score of the people you lose to maybe make a difference?
That could maybe explain a bit of the phenomenon, but I still think its a bug.

The experience that I had with Arena that I'm not stoked on is that my deck lost its first match and immediately dropped out of the T500.
So basically the consequences of getting bad  luck/a really strong opponent for the decks first match are much higher when more players are involved.

Deck Help / Re: i need help making a t500 deck with 5 life dragons!

AI would probably mitose the rustlers.
If you can do 3x mark you could try running the dragons just off the mark I guess and doing something else with the rest of the deck.
Wuuldn't work with 2x draw very well though.
(It kinda depends what level you are)

Or just build a big life rush (~40 cards?) so that the 5 dragons don't get in the way too much.

Its a pretty fat deck, and the draw power is pretty weak.
If you want to keep a similar form I would say get rid of your Eternity and Devonian and add another hourglass or two Right off the bat.
I would suggest slimming it down a bit more by taking out cards that are only there as counters (Purify and Jade) and also your azure (focus on the blitz). Chimera is actually a really strong card here, so I would suggest -colossal +chimera.

Your fire shield/SoG defence seems like it would do ok, but I've never played it so I'm not sure.
Personally, I prefer sundials and dims. Sundials help speed up the deck and dims make better use of  :aether than phase dragon IMO. You could also probably afford to take out some SoGs then to help slim it some more.

Here is the outline for a dragonbow that was used by  :underworld in war.
It is built for a one turn kill.
Another option is to use cloaks over EAs, no black dragon, and put the dragons out earlier.
