i see it as not worth the effort it takes to make a deck for the money i'd gain. I'd be better off just farming rather than thinking up a challenging deck that isn't a carbon copy of every rainbow deck out there + oracle card.

All my decks have been fairly original, well thought ones. They (the better ones at least) usually last about 3 days, capping out at breaking into top 100. It's fun to check the win loss and optimize my next deck based on the performance of the last. But the money incentive just isn't there.

If you're happy with 3 days of being in the top 500 and making less than 1 full hp gold win, then good for you. If you're happy with using the same copy/paste deck + oracle card for an easy 100-200 gold then huzzah. I was just hoping for better when arena was announced.

Not saying "BWAAAA! I HATE ARENA!" I love the addition. But a single upgrade takes 1500 gold, and about the best you can hope for from arena funds is 1-2 ups a month. It takes effort to make a decent deck and would like to be better compensated for doing so. I guess if you're in the top 10 (or however high you gotta get to get better funds) then it is worth it, but with all my efforts i haven't broken those grounds yet, and not many of us ever will despite consistently adding new good decks.

this income needs a buff. I'm in gold league, and it's fairly difficult to make a deck that actually does well winning games (or at least for me it has been) right now my deck has been up for 4 days with a w/l record of 46-11. All i've made is a wimpy 290 coins. This is pitiful. 4 days of staying on top 500 in gold and it's worth a whole whopping 2 (not EM) wins? Sure, it's nice to make money while not playing, but 290 is nothing, especially considering that's all it accrued in 4 days.

OK, so this is a self-bump. But I'm really excited with the bidding starting in just a few hours and hope that i get picked to be part of this event! I actually have a 3 week break from school starting the week after next so i'll have even more free time to tinker around with deck ideas as a strategist/deckbuilder. I don't have the largest available pool of electrum coin right now but i have plenty of random upgrades sitting around that I have no problem selling if need be.

So while not the most inspired/unique/creative deck ever, it's working really well, and is pretty fast against AI5. Most games I'm winning in about 2 minutes, and at least 75% of my wins are EM. Without keeping tabs on wins/losses, it seems to be about a 10-20% lose rate. The only things that really wreck the deck are creatures with CC. Maxwell's demon comes out and you might as well quit. Pretty much that's the only big weakness i've found with the deck since there's no CC.

Any feedback is appreciated :D

Why I would make a good War team member                                                             
I've played elements for a loong time...since before these forums when elements was in its infancy. Never played PVP much because random matches are buggy. I read the forums fairly often but mostly just lurk for new patch updates and false god deck ideas.
Lately, since i have enough upgraded cards and rares to build pretty much any deck i can dream up, I've spent a lot more time on trainer than my real account. I love building fast decks, find uses for new cards, and try to come up with a new FG grinding idea.I think I'd make a good addition to a team because I love designing and testing new decks.

TLDR: I'm a veteran to the game but a noob to pvp and forums.

i played around with something similar to this last night. I used emerald pendulums and instead of photons i just made a bunch of frogs and put luciferin on them. Cast hope, use all excess light (except for hope) on rustlers to make extra green. I only used 6 pendulums in the deck because i had plenty of excess mana (if my hand was right)

I just put in 2 dragons for extra damage, and the occasional mitosis. Had a couple bonds for extra heals.

Worked quite well on half-blood gods, with the right hand the game was over before hope even came into play. Regular gods it failed for the most part, i did manage a few paradox and eldinis wins, but that's not really anything to brag about...

not really sure how the whole TU thing is supposed to work with this deck. I TU a voodoo doll that's a 0/40 and it does like 10 damage to the opponent? Not really worth having to add pillars and more cards to this deck. I'd rather it run more reliably than that, just keeping a doll with the gravity pull and buffed with bloods does ok letting your opponent beat itself down. Really the only thing that can be used to counter it is a rewind or lobotomize. Though i'm not sure at all what happens if you shockwave a doll while it's frozen

then why not freeze? if stasis is intended to work i vote freeze should too

Oh, and the effect is not applied if no weapon is in the slot. It just stays if the weapon is removed.

If you put Basilisk Blood on a voodoo doll, the 6 turn time freeze applies to your opponent's weapon. The weapon even receives the icon for the debuff. If the weapon is removed from the slot in some way before the debuff's 6 turn duration wears off, the weapon slot still has the debuff icon and the next weapon placed into the slot will carry the debuff for the remaining duration.

Pretty sure this isn't intentional >.>

it'll even stop time on the immortal morning star. The freeze ability from ice does not do this.
