Great games killer. Two of my wins were extremely close (final turn) and this could have gone either way.

How fun. Flying fahr/bolt vs flying titans. This game was pretty close and won on the final turn. The two bolts i had in my hand and the 3 fahrenheits on board were enough to finish him

Killer used the same deck again except added fog shields and this deck was pretty brutal vs it. I never pulled a trident but my grabs and my lockdown squids made this game fairly safe.

Whoops. Got counter owned here. Killer changed it up and used immortal creatures + lobo. His 2nd turn lobo pretty much made my physalia's weep and really had no chance here.

Pulled poisons late but managed to get out an early fahr and had 5 bolts in hand. Had to wait to the final turn before i would die and just had enough quanta to nuke him. What hurt killer is he used oty's in his flying titan deck.

Great games Killer and good luck the rest of the way. =)

Great matches Spike. Pretty much countered each other in every match.

Game 1 - Went Sundial/Poison/Dragon vs his pharoah purify. His deck was a bit too slow as i saved up my dials and my dragons to finish him.

Game 2 - Went 40 card light stall with some punch vs his discord deck. Early sanc shut that down and i think i actually won in 5-6 turns.

Game 3 - Decided to go mono-death. Had a bad pillar draw vs his wings deck which countered mine but if i actually had a great draw i could have pulled it out.

Game 4 - Like a dunderhead i went light stall again although i thought it was a bad idea. It was. He brought along a deflag deck but since i didn't pull any sancs the whole match it really didn't matter. Plagues don't help kill stuff if he rewinds his creatures. oops.

Game 5 - Agonized what to play on this one but decided to go with rage/deflag. Turned out to be a good choice since he went wings. Oddly i didn't need to play a deflag or a rage the whole match. Very good draw for me with a first turn poison and arsenic. Got in 2 arsenic hits and pulled 3 more poisons. That was too much for Spike to overcome and i won with a turn to spare.

Hmmm i forgot to save this deckcode since i made this one on the fly deciding what to use. I had 3 deflags/3 rage potions in the deck.

Admittedly not the most consistent deck but it got the job done. This went through quite a few alterations (with bone walls, less staffs, plagues, etc.). All other versions just couldn't get it done. I made one final attempt and miraculously managed to get through gold which allowed me to push through bronze and gold.

Also not the most original deck but originality went out the door after getting punched in the face repeatedly by the arena.

Unfortunately "I am a dunderhead" and i did not copy the "PVP screen" of my score but my personal screen of my score.

Screenshots that show close but not exact scores will be fine.

Sounds like you should still be able to take that screenshot or did your score change that much?

Well here's what happened. I finished gold/bronze/silver all in one sitting and ended at 5am. Was too tired to make screenshots so i figured i would just do it the next night. Anyhow came back on the next night spun the oracle and got Incarnate as my FG so played one game. Anyhow started figuring out my shard competition and after a bit decided to post up my screenshots and started to look at how my other competitors set up there task screens. After looking at xnoize's i realized that i didn't have my user name next to the score and then it dawned on me that i screenshoted the wrong screen as shown below.



Current score is 418751 so exactly 130 points more after EMing Incarnate with my stall SoD deck. Well since i uploaded those i might as well upload my rings as well.

Gold Bronze Silver
Anyhow even if i did realize my mistake before i played the FG last night it would have only fixed the silver portion of the task. It basically was the gold and platinum portion that gave me so many fits. After i realized that all that work had been for naught i was just in super Rage mode and i couldn't get myself to finish the rest. My fault for this mistake and i will do my best the rest of the way to make this as competitive a competition as i can.

Wow... i fail utterly and completely. After many losses and much time trying to complete task I i finally did it last night at 5am with this deck.

I actually went through many different types of decks and probably over 300-400 games in all. Countless amount of 3/4 and 2/3's and so much fail. Anyhow i finally was able to miraculously complete it in a reasonable amount of time last night even though this deck admittedly is not that great (too many poor draws with flying decks). Unfortunately "I am a dunderhead" and i did not copy the "PVP screen" of my score but my personal screen of my score.

So.. complete.. utter... fail. And i don't have the heart to try again and it crushed my motivation to finish the rest of the tasks. With that said i have been having personal RL issues (sick, crazy GF) along with work ramping up due to project deadlines. It may honestly be time for the new guard to take over my position. With that said even with a likely upgraded card disadvantage i will do my best to defend my title.

Sorry guys for not putting up a better effort.

I've honestly had terrible terrible luck. I've had 3/4 gold so many times and 2/3 platinum to only lose each time due to a terrible draw or just one of those unbelievably terrible decks.

Definitely agree with Torb here. Some elements are going to have a really really tough time beating this challenge. Lots of frustration from my side anyhow. This definitely is the hardest deck challenge i've had so far.
