@Mr.Blonde why do you got a holy light as picture if you want to be the master of death?
Well that was my avatar pre-challenge which really had nothing to do with any allegiance to an element but just aesthetic preference. Also wanted a unique avatar that others did not have.

Situtation: A new player just came to you and ask you to help them with a deck that fits there playing style. be it mono duo or what ever

Q: How would you go about helping them out?
I've actually had this happen multiple times on Kong in chat. I'm not so sure how applicable my response will actually be pertaining to death though. I first ask the new player what their goals are. Most of the time the player knows whether they like the game or not and if they want to play long term or to just kill 1 FG and get the badge. From there i nudge them in several directions (mono-earth, mono-aether) depending on what they have.

I had one player start as mono-death because he liked death and thought it was fun to play. I advocated that enjoying to play is the most critical "element" and helped mod his deck. I also let him know that this was not the most effective deck to grind at the beginning and that you would not be able to do anything endgame with it and that when he was ready i would gladly help him out when he was ready. A few days later he was ready and i helped him make a decent rainbow (scaredgirls) and he later received the Kong badge.

Most of the times unfortunately it's just giving them advice/warnings about the 500 quest and cookie cutter builds to grind AI3 and T50.

And thanks for changing your question... Much easier to answer then your previous one. I was mulling that one over as i did some errands.

That extra 2 dmg after dive and the ability to not be able to use 1 Fire Storm to kill it seems to make a huge difference in my matchups.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but Pegasus was 3/4 before the buff. So it does do 2 more damage, but 1 fire storm couldn't kill it before anyway...
You know what PuppyChow? You're right it was 3/4 before... i don't know why i thought it was 3/3. That extra 2 dmg can't be making that much of a difference but for some reason Miracle just gives me trouble now. Bah.

Vreely: In my testing with Hope in the deck i have come to the conclusion that it is not useful enough. It typically ends up as a dead card and having less damage with the unupped fireflies probably does make a slight difference.

I am finding that along with the nerfs that make your deck slightly slower some of the other changes have certainly made some FG's noticeably more difficult. Maybe it's bad luck but Miracle has become much more difficult with the Pegasus becoming 4/4. That extra 2 dmg after dive and the ability to not be able to use 1 Fire Storm to kill it seems to make a huge difference in my matchups. That really is the most noticeable change but other FG's have certainly become slightly harder with some of the creature buffs.

Concerning Feral Bonds i run one in my deck and actually i don't really care for it but it does help with Mastery's. I actually think having all SoG's would increase your winning percentage slightly but would probably give you a lower score in the long run.

I ran Yadalie's deck with 3 oty's for a while and i actually liked being able to get that oty out that much quicker. Unfortunately it really does limit your dmg potential because that means you need to take out a Queen or a Druid which i personally don't like to do.

I've got experience being Master of Death, and I've been an active member of the community for the past several months.  I know almost all strategies out there and I know what cards can and can't do.
I agree completely with Coinich. He has been an active member of this community longer then i have and certainly knows the in's and out's of the game probably to a better extent then i do.

With that said i would like to make a case that i am not completely undeserving of usurping Coinich. I am an active member that frequents the site almost every day and my score is 136K and frequently set up farm decks in the T50. I also have 1850 wins of which over 1100 of them have come against FG's. The majority of which (900+) have come after the sundial nerf. My score was 11K before the sundial nerf and took a break from the game until less then 3 months ago when i started playing again. Which just means... i play quite a bit.  It also means i have the cards (400+upped) and the electrum (130K) to try to become the best Master of Death possible game-wise.

I also starting playing this game on Kong and quickly moved to just playing off of the Elements site. For the most part when i hang out in the chatrooms i end up helping someone with Elements advice.

Anyhow, I just hope i can give Coinich a run for his money in this challenge and would like nothing more then an even playing ground in our matchup.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Why i want to be a Master: I like to help people out and thoroughly enjoy playing the game. Not much more to that really. If i become Master of Death i will surely strive to be the best Master as possible.

Why Death?
: Well to be honest i've always liked Death as an element (my first deck was actually a poison/water deck) but honestly challenged Coinich solely because he did not have any challengers which is a shame. He should be able to crush someone.... or get crushed.

Bad Start = Raging

Sometimes Elements really gets on my nerves. Going 0-10 really steams me.

Octane(2), Dark Matter(2), Rainbow(2), Divine Glory(2),Hermes(1), and lost to Morte with a horrible draw.  >:( >:( >:(

Hehehe, I've had 1 challenger so far for Master of Death (which is far cooler than Master of Water IMO).  Good luck with the challenges, but I have no illusions on how dangerous Mono-Water can be.
So quick question just so i can try to figure out some type of deck to give you at least a little competition. Since it is likely i am the only challenger are we both playing the match with all unupped cards? I did read the instructions but am really not sure.

Could i request a fully upped match?

Thank you guys,i will still help players on kongregate and yes i will drop the title, also bloodshadow there are many element players who play on kong that wants to be in top50,get rares and ect and there not only in for the badges cuz i am always on the game rooms hearing players talk about the game and they are really into it......and i got many people from kong and the chat room of disputedgalaxy to play elements and rate it on kong and even sign up on fourms......i got mods to play it also, lol
I can attest to this since i am also one of those kong players who wanted to be in the T50. Also the room i am in there are quite a few kongers who play elements and discuss it pretty frequently.

Only problem I see with this set is that the Shards are no longer sold in the Bazzaar nor have I seen any of them won in spins.  The shards were that of pre 1.21 version.  So where do we ( we = newer players ) find these shards?  Or is it even possible?
Play some T50, win them from the players that already have them. It shouldn't be too difficult with some diligence.
uuuhhhh shards sold in the bazaar? We are talking about the same thing right?

Rainbow Decks / Re: PuppyChow's FG Rainbow

The nerf's don't seem that big at all but these slight differences do make a difference in the percentage of your wins. Anyhow i've modified the deck a little bit more but am not really sure how well this works yet and i've expanded it to 41 cards of which i'm not even sure if some of these cards are even useful but this has worked the best for me so far.

Anyhow i'm 19-10 (65%) currently with this deck but lots of easy FG's mixed in. Here are my changes.

+2 grav towers (1 probably would be enough but i like getting that extra tower in early)
-1 bonewall(hate losing a bonewall but something had to go)
-1 sundial(took all of them out but decided 2 in the deck is a better way to go)
+1 hope (this is the card that i'm still deciding on. It has made a difference in certain games but not so sure if having this as an extra card hurts)
-unupped FQ instead of elite (obviously since i have hope)

Even though it's at 41 cards with 2 sundials the draws are reasonably good and getting that gravity tower out does help get the oty out that much quicker and allows it to feed at will.

I've been messing around with Yadalie's deck and using the light/hope deck but have come to the conclusion that this deck still works better. The light/hope deck IMO is fun but by far is the worse deck of the three for me.
I have yet to get to a point where it made a difference for me, I always had plenty of quanta once I drew the cards that were nerfed. The only thing that made a difference is the pulvy nerf, but that never made that big of a difference that it was game winning.

However, that is probably just luck though. However, what deck are you using? puppychows doesnt have any sundials in it.
I am using the Anti-matter build (it's listed under 1.19 and 1.20 in the first page). Honestly i may have just run into a little bad luck playing with my 1.20 deck in 1.21. After 20 or so games it just didn't feel right and i might have given up too quickly.

I see you mention that the pulvy nerf isn't that big of a deal (game winning deal anyways). I don't know... i find that getting that pulvy out smashing stuff really does make a difference in many games. Having it cost two really does make you choose between smashing or getting out an oty.

BUT the way it was setup with only 7 towers and 3 sundials definitely hurt me with the auto-mulligan. Now with 9 towers and 2 sundials obviously the auto-mulligan has been helpful.  This probably is the biggest difference for the deck i was running.

Now PuppyChow's original deck... it probably didn't hurt as much since the deck is much smaller then mine (34 vs 40 i believe) with the same amount of towers. Only problem with PuppyChow's original deck is that i could never get it to work for me for whatever reason. I just couldn't win at a decent enough rate.

Vreely - i will continue to work on this deck with Hope but i'm still conflicted about how useful it is. I know it's helped me in certain games though so we shall see after a bigger sample tested.

i had won 10 cards out of 13 wins the other day so obviously i don't think it's any worse now.  ;)
