Also if it reflected poison it would make puffer fish and arsenic that much weaker as well.

Then i would like to hand this thing: http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,5333.0.html (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,5333.0.html)
When i readed this post i was laughing, but if theese arent really bugs, then game has too many unwritten rules.
Off course cards cant have all details on them. But because the rules are too complicated there SHOULD be something like manual or FAQ of unwritten rules.

For example:
- Animated and epinephrined jade staff heals up to 5hp +5hp for each succesfull hit.
- Arsenic poisons opponent only when it hits him, but maximally twice per turn (per arsenic)
I agree. There are a lot of "hidden" rules that should be written up somewhere.

If you have the playskill like me, you can use this deck to get 98% FG win
I call shennanigans! Unless you've played 100,001 games that can't be a truly accurate score.

you guys just dont grind enough
Well back when i was a young'un i would crush 100 FG's into the ground each day before i even woke up.

1) Not a bug. It is working as intended.
2) Not sure if its a bug but this happens with Puffer Fish as well. If they are antimattered the poison still makes it through shields that block all the damage.
3) Can't really comment on the Jade Staff but i'm sure it's, 1st attack = 1 heal and each successful hit thereafter allows you to heal as well.

Please check out this thread on posting decks (people are more likely to comment if we have the screenshot of your deck).

http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,1517.0.html

Anyhow my opinions on this deck. I'm sure this deck will work fine farming AI3 but it looks a bit slow and is bloated at 38 cards. I know you commented in my thread on my unupped AI3 farmer stating that i should take out 4 poisons and add 4 plagues but i disagree. Farming AI3 is all about pumping out as much damage as possible in the shortest amount of time and there is no need at all for creature control.

Also you have a lot of high quanta costing cards which can really slow you down and will make you prone to bad draws.  To compare, your average cost per card is 5.30 vs 3.77 for my deck and the tower ratio is the same for both decks (39.5% for your deck, 40.0% for mine).

90% win against FG????? THIS?
Won't you deck out against FG's most of the time?
No, PuppyChow is exaggerating. I've been testing it out and it only wins at an 88.9% rate.

Good games MrBlonde, and congrats on winning.  I've just a few notes on my end of the battle.
Thanks for the notes. Reading them certainly gives me a better understanding of what happened.

Match 3:  I figured you'd find a way to get around the basic rush, so I decided to switch to my Oty/Death control deck.  I didn't expect EE, and while I might've been able to counter one if I had included my Gravity Pulls, it wouldn't have been in time.  Your Fog Shield did more than you gave it credit for; it would've been much closer had you not played it.
You know what i think you are right about the fog shield. I was only thinking about the Condor doing damage but you did have an arsenic out round 2 or 3.  What i remember from the chat was most people thought i was done this round.

Match 5:  You got this one wrong; I didn't even consider Fractal/Pest, rather I figured Darkness would splash better than Fire and that I should return to my original effective deck, the Recluse Rush.  It worked rather well I thought; the Nightfall never came into play but the Steals worked well.
That's right you never played a pest. I knew i would get a deck wrong. This matchup was meh for me. Your steals were irrelevant as well since you basically only stole 1 arsenic near the end when the game was in hand. I just couldn't do enough damage quick enough.

Match 6:  Same deck, if I recall correctly.  I got a bad hand, flooded with my five Darkness cards and never drew enough Aether quanta and a Fractal in time to out deal you in damage.  Poor hand, poor luck, good game.
I knew something was wrong this game since you only had 2 recluses out the whole game.

Match 7:  Match 7 was interesting, as both I and I think everyone else in the Chat thought I had that one in the bag.  I used the same Darkness Aether Death trio, thinking it worked well once and I only had a spout of bad luck last match.  I had a good hand, and if I recall you didn't play almost any Death creatures.  I figured you'd use them as your main damage dealers, so when I finally saw a Bone pillar/tower come down, I Stole it, thinking I had locked you out of this one.  What I didn't count on was my other two Steals not being drawn.  I wasn't afraid until the last turn or so; if I had drawn that one card I'dve won that match.  As it was, my mistake cost me the game.
I didn't get to play any creatures at all til my last move when i had already won. I was only able to PU your recluse. I PU'd your first recluse then lightninged it. This was a really long match. I had no death quanta so i couldn't play any creatures or poison you. I think i had 6 poison on you and my lone recluse damaging you all game. I had to use my 5th phase shield i believe to finish you. Knowing that you had 2 more steals lets me know really how lucky i got since we drew through most of our hands.

Well deserved, I might add.  In almost every match you managed to provide interesting and better decks than I had.
Thanks i appreciate it.

I stuck to the Fractal/Recluse combo almost all the time simply because outside of my fickle Gravity/Death deck it was all I had thought up of.  I never even thought of a basic Chryasoara rush.
I wanted to add a Chryasoara rush but it really is kinda slow if your cards aren't fully upped so i nixed it for my flying epi deck. Which failed miserably as well.

After about Match 3 or 4, it was all deck improvisation from there.  You put much more effort and time into this, and it showed.  Congrats, and I look forward to challenging you in two months. :P
I definitely put time into this and since i've never been one to make decks this whole challenge has certainly improved my game. The Phase 2 challenge in making a duo-deck had me go through the entire gamut of elements to see what worked and didn't work. This in turn made creating decks for this match-up infinitely easier. Like i mentioned to you earlier i spent close to 80K upping my decks and ran all those decks through the trainer.

Anyhow great matchup Coinich and i look forward to you challenging me to regain your title.

Just want to thank Coinich for being a great Master of Death and we had a great battle. Here is my writeup of the matchup with my decks although i probably won't remember all of Coinich's decks. I won 5-3. Upped cards were even at 17. For this matchup i made 8 specific decks to try to beat him.

Round 1 (0-0)
Code: [Select]
52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52h 52h 710 713 713 713 713 713 713 71a 71a 71b 71b 80a 80a 80a 80a 80a 80aThis matchup was pretty close. Coinich played a fractal/recluse deck and it came down to my bonewall falling and losing on the last turn. If i had found my other bonewall i would have won this matchup. But seeing that this game didn't last that long i would have had to have been lucky to have found it.

Round 2 (0-1)
Code: [Select]
52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 5ib 5ib 5ib 5ib 5ib 5ib 718 718 718 718 718 718 71a 71a 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gkSo i tried to go to a creature control deck with my squids. Unfortunately i only was able to get out 1 squid the whole game and his fractal/recluses just overwhelmed me. I believe he played the same deck as round 1. At this point i was a bit discouraged.

Round 3 (0-2)
Code: [Select]
52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52o 52o 52o 52o 52o 52o 5og 5og 5ol 5ol 713 713 713 713 7ms 7ms 7ms 7ms 7ms 7ms 7ms 7ms 7n2 7n2 7n2 7n5 7n5This round to counteract the fractal i decided that i needed creature control and a shield. Coinich feeling that a change was coming to counter him decided to go to a gravity/death deck with condors and oty's with some bonewalls. Unfortunately for him i got out my fog shield pretty early (was irrelevant though) and an Eagle Eye. Basically he got stuck with two 0/2 oty's and a 1/2 condor on his field. He did have his arsenic out but it couldn't dmg and poison me fast enough.

Round 4 (1-2)
Code: [Select]
4vl 4vl 4vl 4vl 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52o 52o 52o 52o 52o 52o 6ts 6ts 6ts 6ts 6ts 6ts 6ts 6u7 6u7 6u7 6u7 713 713 713 713 7n2 7n2So now i decided to take a chance and play my entropy deck in the hopes that i pulled an early discord which i did (2nd round). He was playing a fire deck but my early discord messed him up pretty badly. He managed to destroy two of my discords and get an oty out but since i never played a creature and i replaced my discords right away he died a slow death. He also never played a creature with damage probably due to him figuring i had antimatters and was saving them for a one turn kill. Orrr he just had bad quanta issues.

Round 5 (2-2)
Code: [Select]
52g 52o 52o 52o 52o 52o 52o 52q 52q 52q 52q 52q 52q 710 710 710 710 710 710 710 7ai 7ai 7an 7an 7an 7n2 7n2 7n2 7n2 7n2
Now here i made an error in playing this deck. I tested this out earlier and being unupped i found it a bit too slow. Which is what it ended up as. Coinich played a darkness deck with steals/fractals/pests with aether towers. I lost by 2 turns in this one.

Round 6 (2-3)
Code: [Select]
52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52h 52h 5um 5um 5um 5um 5um 5um 710 710 710 710 710 710 710 713 713 713 713 713 713 71a 71a 7t8 7t8I knew this round was important because if i lost this one i figured i was done. I won this one solely because i think Coinich messed up his deck trying to fix it. He mentioned he destabilized it and i believe him since all he ever did was play 2 recluses. My 1 devourer that made it out obviously did nothing to him quanta-wise and because he had a darkness mark i never played my shields.

Round 7 (3-3)
Code: [Select]
52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61r 61r 61r 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 713 713 713 713 718 718 718 718 718 718 71a 71a 808 808 80a 80a 80aI could feel another fractal deck coming so i decided to go with my stall deck. Coinich also made one crucial mistake in this matchup which cost him. Coinich once again played a darkness deck with fractals/recluses a steal and a nightfall. What probably saved my bacon this matchup was that i had a horrible draw and could not draw a bone tower. Because of this i had a bunch of aether towers out but with no bone tower he probably thought i was going fractal. When i finally played my bone tower he stole that tower. After that it was a phase shield chain with him having a full field of nightfalled recluses that couldn't do anything. I think i had one recluse out (that i TU'd) and i managed to poison him a little bit. I think the whole match i had no more then 1 bone tower out. If Coinich doesn't steal my bone tower he wins this match.

Round 8 (4-3)
Code: [Select]
52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52g 52h 52h 52o 718 718 718 718 718 71a 71a 7q4 7q4 7q4 7q4 7q4 7q9 7q9 7q9 7q9 7q9And for our final match i used my final deck. I really didn't purposely try to use 8 different decks but i felt this deck was decent enough to win. Basically i rewound and poisoned and stalled to the victory. I was fortunate because i won this coin flip and i ended up winning on the last turn. Coinich played a life/death deck with recluses and feral bond and i believe fractal (Coinich loves fractal BTW). He did manage to get out a feral bond with 4-6 recluses out but it wasn't enough since i had a bit of poison on him and had a bone dragon out. Sundials were enough to stall him as my Arsenic continued to damage and poison.

Tough and very enjoyable matchup. I just want to thank Coinich again for his time as Master of Death and hope that i can live up to the title.
