Gotta say i love the non-randomness of the event cards. Also i think all the cards have been great.
This section allows you to view all posts made by a guest. Note that you can only see posts made in areas you currently have access to.
So for this round 3 what do we choose ? I think we won't deck out anybody so the rush option looks betterYeah we are going rush. PMed Kev and DD already
For our Event card, I think we should go for Rush.K i will be sending off a PM to the moderators now. Very nice decks guys. Again all credit goes to you all for making this happen. Hopefully all your hard work will pay off this round.All7 of our decks will be able to win 1 game in 13 turns.
But I don't think 4 of our decks could win with deckout. Our Light deck definitely can, but our other 3 stalls won't be able to deckout if they are up against poison, bolts, or just a lot of damage.
Bump, changed a few things in the decks as per mrblondes request. Totals should be right now. If anyone else has any ideas on things we could change in conversion with the current plan we could figure that out...doo dee doo.... hmmm. Yeah panda doesn't seem to fit in as well this round. It would go well against but we already used that vs them last round. Man the 24 card discards suck. Beyond that it looks good. Still wish we could keep the RT's somehow. Geez we really need to win all our matches this round.
As a side note, the only thing we could really change in our plan would be to change one of the decks to Pandybone but not sure who we would take that against.
(If people want to pick different things for our conversion)
Cards remaining in vault after: decks, salvage, discards, conversion
1 wings
2 steal
1 nightfall
2 nightmare
2 vampire dagger
4 bone dragon
2 skull shield
2 poison
6 plague
6 bonewall
5 arsenic
2 titanium shields
6 stoneskin
6 pandymonuim
1 sanctuary
4 miracle
Current Conversion Idea:(please note these cards are not in the cards shown above)
Conversion (14 pillars + 10 pendulums)
6 plague
3 freeze
6 sundial
1 gravity pull
1 vampire dagger
1 wings
1 shockwave
2 purify
2 steal
1 miracle
Its not as simple as that...can't just say lets keep our RTs with just 3 leftover pillars/pends salvaging them in most spots while saving what we can of our creatures and doing a full conversion. Also id hate to have to suicide vs the #1 team, EVERYONE will hate us and dog on us. But anyways if someone comes up with a better plan then mine then thats cool, but let me see the whole plan in effect rather then just saying somethingWell i've always been of the mind of doing what is best for the team. If it means suiciding vs the team we are most likely to beat... well so be it. I quite dislike suiciding but sometimes you have to do it. I'll hop on chat and hopefully we can figure some of this stuff out.
Was doing a little work and I noticed it looked like someone already did 1 salvage from round 2 (2 titan 2 flying weapon 2 catapults)I agree. If someone does any changing to the vault it should be posted here.
I think we should probably fully discuss what we are doing before someone salvages and two make sure to update it with a post so we know when someone has change the vault, I would hate to get a silly penalty because of it, ty.
Who would've thought I would be happy about not playing time and sad about not playing Fire? Last round it was the other way around. Yeah time is pretty nasty with 10men running a teamWell it looks like you've definitely put a lot of thought into this. We just need to see if we actually can make these decks with our current vault. So let me know what you guys think about this since as of now i don't really have a problem with any of these decks.
Once again this is a hard matchup. Earth can make a super fast rush or a very heavy stall, and Death has nothing guaranteed to beat both. Earth likes Dimshields and does a bunch of things to get past wings. And they actually don't use Earthquakes very much. Bleh this is going to be a hard matchup. I'll figure out something later.
always gave me fits (along with darkness) and honestly i think we throw whatever we have left against them.
Death Immortal. Easy choice. Life's only winning decks from R2 lose to Death Immortal. Let's just go with 46 cards just in case they use Firestall on us.
Sounds good to me since you've done the research on this
Titans, I guess. Maybe an offensive version. Aether's only winning decks from R2 that can beat it are Grabbow and Devtal. I don't think they will run Grabbow again. We will probably lose against Devtal, yes, but no deck can beat everything.
Light Stall. Darkness only has one deck that beats it - PU Dragons with LS. But I don't think they are going to have their only attackers be LS'ed Dragons against the Element of Bonewalls.
Here's the problem... if we use both stalls we are going to need a lot of pillars/pends which seem to be a problem ATM. Also if we build this we need to build it big as ToRB played darkness stalls vs us last war as well. Biggest problem with their stall is he packs drain life's.. although now that i think about it the max damage they can do is 80.
Grabbow. With 9 upgrades, it's going to be amazing. 2 deflags to take down their Dimshield and Vader deck. Light seems to run slow-ish decks with a little defense, and Grabbow will tear through them XD.
I like it. Sounds good to me since for the most part i am the best suited to use a grabbow
Meh, this is another tough match. I really don't know. Darkness Domin?
Well they definitely won't go grabbow again. I'd actually love to try to use sanc's against them again but likely the sanc's are better off vs darkness. I could see them using panda or mono entropy vs us. I need to think on this as well
Dimshield/Fractal with 2 Dragons. Dims are good against all of their winning decks except the Fire duo. Dragons because they get past Wings. It's a small deck commitment (2 cards) but it changes the game against their Wings stall.
I see no problem with that here. Especially since we have yet to use fractal this should be okay. I'm still surprised i haven't seen a speed poison from water. Does have me worried a bit that they might break it out here.
Aggressive BoneBolt. We can use creatures for damage, not poison - it's unreliable. Something like 2-3 Bonewalls and 5-6 Lightnings off the mark. I know you'll think I'm crazy using Bonewalls against the Team of Momentum, but it actually works out really nicely1.) All of gravity's creatures in their victorious R2 decks die to Lightning. 2.) Gravity's decks have a lot of CC left, which won't do anything against BoneBolt.
Interesting choice here. The obvious choice is a RT dek. Only thing is we have to hope they don't use any type of catapult deck vs us.
