Also, yes, it's very fair to say that if your deck can't take on HBs, it won't be able to take on FGs.  At all.
Thank you! That's what I thought.

Cool. I hadn't stumbled across that deck yet. I'll give it a try. Always open to a new learning experience.

Thanks and kudos!

There are some decks that are good against CERTAIN FG that will never do against HB. For example a single permanent control spells some losses for some decks
Now, that's interesting. In other words, against FGs with no perm control, you can design a deck without worrying about it, but HBs will almost always have some form of it.

Okay, let's narrow the question. Can you think of a  :rainbow FG deck that can't also beat HBs? Just curious.

half bloods are easy as pie. They are in no way to be compared to false gods in terms of difficulty.
Of course not. My point is slightly different. Can you think of a deck that can beat FGs that can't beat HBs? In other words, is ability to beat HBs necessary but not sufficient to beating FGs.

Just a philosophical or logic question. I obviously have too much time on my hands. ::)

However you might beat HB and get pwned against FG.
Absolutely. I just wondered if the reverse was true, meaning if you can't beat HB, no way will you beat FG. Makes sense.

Is it a fair statement that if your deck can't survive against Half Bloods, there's no way you'll survive against False Gods? In general, I mean. And not beating, just surviving a decent number of turns.

It may seem obvious but it just occurred to me. Interested in what others think.

Dark Matter / Would Sanctuary and Silence Work?
« on: April 20, 2011, 01:27:33 am »
Wouldn't the new cards, Sanctuary and Silence, be helpful against Dark Matter? I've tried them in a couple of ways and can't quite get it to work, but I'm still a total noob at deck building.

Thanks,

Love this deck. I worked my way through the whole thread to understand the various changes for new versions of the game and new cards.  I'm currently playing semi-upped and enjoying the battles.

kudos to twinbusters and many thanks.

General Discussion / Kippers?!
« on: March 23, 2011, 06:27:28 pm »
I got a fortune from the oracle that said the world would go through an elderberry bush hung with kippers.  I was not aware that kippers grew on trees. :D
